Veronica Beard Kona Dickey Jacket and Marbeau Pants
The Princess of Wales Visits the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood
On August 6, 2025, the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood released a series of animated films that explore brain science and explain the key concepts behind how nurturing interactions support the social and emotional development of babies and young children. The Princess of Wales has been closely involved in the development of the project. In June, the Princess spent time with two of the illustrators and met early years practitioners involved in the development of the films during a creative workshop. To mark the release of the animated films on August 6, new photos from the Princess’s visit to the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood were released.[ads id="ads1"]The new animated films from the Centre for Early Childhood showcase how adults can create nurturing, loving interactions with children, helping to foster social and emotional development during the earliest years of life. Also available in Welsh and British Sign Language, the films will be integrated into training and practice across the UK. They cover topics such as growing an emotionally healthy brain, recognizing and navigating emotions, managing big feelings together, and creating space for connection. The Princess wore a forest green set: the ‘Kona Dickey Jacket’ by Veronica Beard and the matching ‘Marbeau Pants’ from the same brand.
She looks lovely in that shade of green. And I like that her hair is away from her pretty face.
ReplyDeleteNice trouser suit in a lovely colour and eminently suitable for the occasion. I’m not certain if the length of the jacket goes well with the pleated trousers but a minor criticism. Personally, I miss her classy dresses or skirt blouse combos.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and so relatable!MR
ReplyDeleteThis shade of green is a great color for Princess Catherine but I’m not a fan of this pantsuit. Not on her or the model. I don’t know if there is a particular cut of wide-leg slacks that would be flattering on someone with her build but this does nothing for her. They seem to swallow her frame. The jacket fits but seems to be too short in proportion to the way the pants fit her. Again I’m thinking they look a size too big for her. She has a long torso and slim, boyish hips so this is not a great look, in my opinion.
ReplyDeleteNice colour green, fits nicely. She can wear this style pant because of her thinness looks good.
ReplyDeleteThe cut and style of the suit is excellent. Simple and elegant lines. No fussy blouse - I like it. The color is good for the PoW. With her height , she can wear the wide legged trousers quite well.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely pantsuit, the color is sublime, gorgeous shade of green. I'm not sure this pantsuit looks good on the Princess, quite baggy. I prefer the look of the model overall.
ReplyDeleteWere the photos published because it's Meghan's birthday? What date do the photos have since those people are always on holiday? Pathetic! Irene
ReplyDeleteVery chic, very good colour for her. She simply looks gorgeous. Brave woman with a good heart.
ReplyDeleteThe green colour is beautiful but unfortunately the fit and the length of the jacket is not for her. She is lovely anyway.
ReplyDeleteAutumn colors just like Princess Anne.
