Princess Märtha Louise’s Fashion Label Hést Celebrates Its Fifth Anniversary

For five years now, Princess Märtha Louise’s fashion label Hést has been in existence. Hést was founded in 2019 by Anne-Kari Bøhaugen and Monica Sundt Utne, with Princess Märtha Louise as both co-owner and ambassador. To mark the anniversary, a celebratory fashion show was held at the Jakob Cultural church in Oslo, featuring the Spring/Summer 2026 collection and attended by many family members.

Among the models on the catwalk that evening were none other than Märtha Louise’s daughters, Maud Angelica and Leah Isadora. Watching from the sidelines were her youngest daughter, Emma Tallulah Behn, and her husband, Durek Verrett. In recent years, Leah Isadora has made a name for herself in the fashion industry and in 2021 was named ‘Beauty Influencer of the Year’ at the Vixen Awards, followed in 2022 by the title of ‘Beauty Profile of the Year’ at the Costume Awards.

Anon 20:29 Would you please explain your thoughts? When someone makes such a declarative statement without an explanation, it only sounds mean spirited. I do not have the same strong reaction you do, so I would like to know what you are seeing that I must not be.

As @ Zucchina rightly pointed out, this is fashion for young/ youthful people, not for stiff ladies.
I guess you fall into the latter category and this might somehow explain your otherwise unstructured and weak statement.
Don't you have better argumentations to substantiate your comment?

    5. Anonymous 20:29, there is nothing wrong with your comment! You have the right to express your opinion like everybody else.

      Coralie- WHAT opinion?

    7. Anonymous19/8/25 14:40

Thank you, Coralie. There seems to be a few people on this site that think their opinion is the only one that matters and that they are the fashion ‘experts’. And, P the Unoriginal, I am not a stiff, old lady. My arguments for not liking the fashion are that I don’t like the denim look and the rather ratty hemlines. To me this looks like a first time project for a beginning ‘fashion’ designer. That is my opinion. You seem to anttack anyone who does not agree with you…perhaps YOU are the stiff one!

    8. You are welcome! And you are so right about the people who think that their opinion is the only one who matters...

    12. Anon at 14:40, please don't blame @P. the original, he was just using my words.
Of course everyone has the right to own opinion but if one is only using words "a big no" others await an explanation. Now you pointed it out in your later comment at 14:40, thanks for it.

    13. P. the original20/8/25 09:39

      @14:40
You got It all wrong again.
Firstly, nobody wanted to belittle the 20:29 comment, just because there were no argumentations to discuss- let alone belittled- in it.
The point was the one highlighted by @ Anonymous 03:25 , that is:
" when someone makes such a declarative sentence without an explanation, it only sounds mean spirited".
This is the same point I made.
"Unstructured" in my comment simply means:
" lacking structure or any kind of organized/ articulated thought scheme ".
Maybe you are not used to catch/ speak English, otherwise you would have spared such a wastage of time.
"Unstructured" is no offensive word, it is a fact in this context.
It just means that what someone is saying sounds weak because any kind of further claryfication/ explanation is lacking.
Opinions exist when argumentations are stated , which didn't happen at the beginning
      (20:29 comment).
Later on, you worded out something at 14:40 and it took you quite a long time to state something more clearly.
Secondly, no one- including myself- ever mentioned that vintage denim, as it is currently called, has to be liked at all costs.
I for one like some pieces and dislike others I can see portrayed in this post.
I only said that it is "on trend" and that this fashion show makes even more sense.
Normally, denim is preferred and worn by young or youthful people, not by stiff ladies sticking to old cliches.
      This is another fact,.
" Stiff" in this context is referred to
"someone reluctant to accept contemporary trends and wear whatever new should pop out of the newest fashion collections".
Thirdly, Martha Louise, just like anyone working in / for the fashion industry, has to go with the flow somehow and keep in touch with the latest tendencies.
She focused on the 70- inspired vintage denim but I can't see anywhere her forcing her collection on you.
You are absolutely free to reject It but you should be able to give some reasons for disliking it here, given this is a fashion blog.
Ok, you'll never belong to M.Louise's clientele and I do not think she will ever take that into consideration.
Fourtly: the ones you label scornfully as "experts" are normal people with a broader fashion knowledge and that's all.
      Why?
Probably because they welcome and wear new trends available on the fashion market.
They simply BUY new pieces on a regular basis and have a sharp eye for modern/ contemporary clothing styles.
Finally, please, before attacking me, make sure you understand the meaning of every single word I wrote.
      Now, please, chill out.
      No worries.

As a Swedish, I am unfamiliar with this brand, and it is certainly not commonly used among the younger demographics. It appears to cater primarily mature women and reflects a distinctly ”niche” appeal, if a may say so.

  6. I know that Märtha-Louise needs to earn money. But it is exactly pictures like these that makes her just another celebrity. Nothing regal. I like monarchy to keep some kind of myth. That's why I prefer the british royal family.

Hear! Hear! Not my cup of tea fashion wise, but young people seem to embrace 1970s denim everywhere. I rather prefer a Princess who works for her living than an entitle stuck up Royal spare.
