Princess Margriet Opens the 2025 FEI Driving World Championship for Pairs
On Wednesday evening, August 20, Princess Margriet of the Netherlands officially opened the 2025 FEI Driving World Championship for Pairs at the Riant Equestrian Centre in Beekbergen. The opening evening featured a parade with all participants of the championship, along with a presentation by the Royal Stables’ Carriages and Riding Stables. The World Driving Championship for Pairs is taking place from August 20 to 24.
I've never heard of this princess before. She seems like a lively lady and that comes through in her outfit. Although I'm not a fan of printed pants I think this outfit is well put together. I would have preferred a skirt or dress in the floral fabric but she stands out and that's a good thing for this opening ceremony.
ReplyDeletePrincess Margriet is King Willem Alexander's aunt the younger sister of his mother Princess Beatrix. She stays young forever and it looks like in The Netherlands they enjoy the last days of the summer holidays. She always dresses young. She is wearing a pair of modern blue loafers with her pants. These floral fabrics are used as well for skirts and dresses as for summer pants. Her son Prince Maurits and his wife were visiting the Sail 2025 Amsterdam event.
ReplyDeleteWho's that girl? Never heard before... Find the mistake...
ReplyDeleteRavie de revoir la princesse Margriet inaugurant ce championnat ; très joli ce bleu lumineux combiné à la couleur blanche !
ReplyDeletePrincess margriet ( 80+) is the sister of former queen Beatrice and so an aunt of King Willem Alexander. She is always dressed very elegant. I like the blaser but for me the print ofvthe trousers are too much for me

ReplyDeleteInteresting and brightly colored attire. This princess radiates her enthusiasm for the event - very nice. You gotta admit, the blue shoes are attention grabbers. She strikes a nice casual balance.
