Queen Camilla Attends Second Day of the Ebor Festival in York

On August 21, 2025, Queen Camilla attended the second day of the Ebor Festival at York Racecourse in York. As Patron of York Racecourse, the Queen met representatives from local charities supported by the racecourse, members of the Yorkshire racing community, and the York Racecourse team. The Queen became patron of York racecourse in 2024.

Queen Camilla also unveiled a plaque in recognition of the ‘Juddmonte International’ race, which was named the ‘World’s Best Race’ by the Longines World Racing Awards after taking place at York Racecourse last year. The racecourse traces its history back to 1731, when the first recorded meeting took place. Today, it is home to many famous races, including the Ebor, Dante, and Gimcrack.
