The Duchess of Edinburgh is making a three-day official visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina to mark the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide. On July 10, 2025, the Duchess met with the Croat member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, at the Presidency building in Sarajevo. Later, the Duchess toured the old town of Sarajevo.
Afterwards, the Duchess visited the Missing Persons Institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina, accompanied by the British Ambassador, Julian Reilly. The Srebrenica massacre, also known as the Srebrenica genocide, was the systematic killing of more than 8,000 Bosniak Muslim men and boys in and around Srebrenica in July 1995, during the Bosnian War.

ردحذفFirst dress is a perfect length and looks good as a result. Nice shoes and hair too. Second dress is undoubtedly too long but you can’t see that in these photos so we can appreciate it as another nice style
ردحذفEven though the polka-dot dress isn't that exciting, at least the shorter length is better than most of her dresses. Sophie's hair looks nice from the front, but when you see the back, it's a terrible disappointment, when it needn't have been with a bit of easy care.

“Terrible disappointment” is perhaps slightly overstated for what is afterall a woman’s hair tucked up off her face. I think she keeps things simple and does not travel with a huge entourage, hence does her own hair. She’s neat and tidy and does her job really well. Full credit Sophie!

May be it was done in haste, but even then, a little care could have been taken to make it look neat and tidy, like the front which looks fine. That was my point. You don't need a full entourage for simple things like that.

Weird that the hair police isn't commenting on her hair. If Q.Maxima is going out with hair like this, she must hear all the bad comments possible. When D. Sophie is doing the same she receive nothing but good marks, except by one or two commenters. Like I said earlier "c'est à la tête du client".

I noticed her beautiful calves too. Finally we get to see them and they look great. I don't know why she hides them behind those extra long hemlines. This length is a refreshing change.
حذفI think the Prada dress is just the style DoE should wear. It’s the perfect length with a V neck/open neck top. This style is far more complimentary of her figure,than her usual style. I am not a fan of her in the Suzannah brand. Which is what she wears in the second part of her visit. The green dress was probably chosen because of the flower print being significant to the visit.

I agree, the Prada dress is a style that suits her well. I am thinking the collar makes a big difference on how it sits rather than hangs on her.

حذفI find Prada generally not to my taste. It is high priced for - in my estimation - frequently bland items. I like the main fabric here but find it pulled down by the very beige collar/details. I don’t think the shaping is particularly good for Sophie, due to the gathered waist. She is anyway completely lovely but this designer isn’t a favourite of mine - Salomè
