As Patron of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, Queen Camilla has unveiled the new RHS and BBC Radio 2 ‘Dog Garden’, designed by Monty Don, which has recently been installed at the charity’s London centre. Following the unveiling, Her Majesty joined a reception with the charity’s staff, volunteers, and ambassadors. For this year’s Chelsea Flower Show, the RHS partnered with Radio 2 and Monty Don to create a garden designed especially for dogs.
Upon arrival at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, The Queen was welcomed by rescue dogs, as well as the charity’s staff and volunteers who care for them. Battersea provides expert care to animals in need by rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming dogs and cats across its three centres, while also sharing its expertise and resources with organisations around the world.
Earlier this year, Queen Camilla welcomed a new Battersea rescue dog into her home, named Moley. A new portrait of The Queen with Moley was recently released and shared on the royal family’s official Instagram account, alongside a caption that partly read: "It was a fantastic afternoon at Battersea — we are so grateful for all that you do! Whilst Moley was keeping cool at home, he wishes he could have been reunited with some of his old friends!"
I think this cut is really sophisticated and a very good solution to have a nice wide skirt, but not beginning immediately at the waist, because that would be too bulky. Here, she has a nice accentuated waistline among others through the wide skirt w - but completely without a belt. This gives her a nice silhouette.
ReplyDeleteMost adorable brooch. Most adorable pups/dogs as well.
ReplyDeleteCute dog. Queen wearing signature look, nice colours for her.
ReplyDeleteQueen Camilla in one of her uniforms. The dress seems to be made in a stiff cotton material. She wears a doggy brooch like children do. Perhaps to visits the dog garden her dress is just fine.
ReplyDeleteThe doggy brooch is from Van Cleef & Arpels. It costs $7,400.

DeleteAh quand même ; il faudrait que j'économise quelques mois pour pouvoir me l'acheter !!!
Even if the brooch costs $7,400 it is not something I would wear, it looks ridiculous and decadent on an adult lady.
DeleteLa robe bleue est élégante mais j'aurais bien vue sa jupe moins évasée !
ReplyDeleteI don't know how the others see it - but for me, her signature look is sure not the last fashion (which it should not be) and personally, I would love to see her more often in skirt suits. The swishy skirt, the good length, the vibrant colour, the embroidered hemline, the good fit (not too wide and not too tight anywhere) makes this dress suitable well beyond the dog garden.
ReplyDeleteI love the the last picture.
ReplyDeleteThis dress is not flattering in the least, but she looks very happy.
ReplyDeleteI cannot nail it, but this blue dress does not really suit the queen, it somehow reveals too many features of her figure. The other dress, with the interesting pattern - I think I have seen it before - is livelier and therefore more flattering, the eyes are also more occupied. The doggy brooch is obviously an act of politeness, I do not understand the catty remark.

This was a wonderful visit by the Queen. She seemed to enjoy it immensely. The colour of her dress is a beautiful shade of blue. Love the brooch.
ReplyDeleteThe colour is beautiful on the Queen. I have to be blunt here to her dresser or dressers. Why can’t you see what is so obvious? The lady needs a better bra, it would give her a such slimmer look and the underwear needs to go to the smallest part of the midriff, this is her waist land. No rolls show and the dress would look finished. Just try it who taught you to dress someone? Sorry but this makes me so angry you don’t do a lovely Queen justice.
ReplyDelete@Anon 15:46: What you are writing about, are the very normal an dhealthy-looking curvatures of another human being. Comments like this suggest strongly that women who are not slim need a slimmer look. Why should Camilla want to look slimmer, can you give us an answer to this very simple question? She is not fat in an unhealthy way, she is just not model-like slim. What makes *me* angry is this body-shaming attitude. It is not tolerated any more when it relates to people with bodily handicaps. Why should it be tolerated when it relates to fully normal people who just happen to be not model-like slim? I find this attitude horrible.
