On July 28, 2025, King Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark, along with their children Princess Isabella and Prince Vincent, arrived in Gråsten to spend their summer holiday. Queen Margrethe and Princess Benedikte will also reside at Gråsten Castle. In 1935, Gråsten Palace was designated as the summer residence of King Frederik IX and Queen Ingrid, and the tradition of using it during the summer has continued ever since.

Vincent you look so tall and handsome- Mary seems to think so too in the last photo.

No, she really doesn’t. Read the comment at the top “… arrived in Gråsten to spend their summer holiday”! Hope she enjoys it, and wears her hair exactly as she wants for her holiday with no strangers telling her what to do.

No she doesn't. Stop obsessing about another woman's hair and worry about your own.

I don't like Isabella having a second earing. Cheap.

I must be cheap as well. At least I am in great company. I think the only women I know with only one ear piercing are my 89 year old mother and my 85 year old mother-in-law.

Cheap maybe for your age group and your small corner of the world, but for millions of young adolescents of her age range, it is both fashionable and a current trend, and has been acceptable for decades now. Why shouldn't she enjoy her youthful freedom while she can? She isn't hurting anyone's feelings other than yours, and she is accountable only to herself if she decides to have a second earring. One day she may decide to stop doing it and will be glad that she did it in the past.

The queen and the children look lovely and well groomed in contrast to the informal dressed king.
Do the Danes really like that, I wonder.

??? The king is dressed more formally than Vincent. I don't understand your comment.

The photos are wonderful and they all look so good in them.
All of them are well dressed, with special mention of Isabella looking very nice in the DvF dress. The length is perfectly fine, but slightly shorter might have been nice too
Golly, Vincent has really shot up and is taller than Isabella, and probably his parents too! He is handsome and already shows signs of an elegance beyond his young age.
Wishing them all a relaxed and happy Summer holiday.

I think I prefer Pr. Isabella's dress over Queen Mary's. And I absolutely love the ballet flats of Pr. Isabella. - Virginia Dogwood
