On July 28, 2025, Spain's Queen Letizia chaired the annual meeting of the directors of the Cervantes Institute for the year 2025. The Canary Islands hosted the annual meeting of the directors of Instituto Cervantes centers, which was held at the University of La Laguna, in Tenerife. The President of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, attended the working session.

The Instituto Cervantes is a public institution created by Spain in 1991 to universally promote the teaching, study, and use of the Spanish language and to contribute to the dissemination of Hispanic cultures abroad. It is present in 88 cities across 45 countries, through its centers, classrooms, and extensions on all five continents.

  3. Unfortunately, because of my limited time at the moment, I can only scan through the photos of NewMyRoyals whilst having my tea, toast and jam each morning.
    I must say, the royal ladies have presented a wonderful line up of summer dresses this year.
    And Queen Letizia adds to this list with her choice from Adolfo Domínguez.

    Beautiful dress! Love the light, floral, floaty nature of it, and that it is accomplished in a red print. The length is perfect, and I'm glad that she tied the belt without those dangling bits.
