On July 1, 2025, King Charles III and Queen Camilla, along with Princess Anne, hosted a Garden Party at the Palace of Holyroodhouse in Edinburgh, Scotland, marking the first day of their visit to Scotland. The King, Queen, and Princess Anne welcomed over 8,000 guests from across Scotland to the annual event, which celebrates individuals who have made positive contributions to Scottish communities.
The King, Queen, and Princess Anne met with representatives of Scottish charities, community organizations, local businesses, and public service workers who continue to make a difference across the country. King Charles III and Queen Camilla are visiting Scotland with members of the Royal Family for Royal Week, which runs until Friday, July 4.

ردحذفWow Anne looks so nice in blue. Now is that a hat she borrowed from her mom had it done for herself. Very different, perfect fit of jacket. And she never disappoints with her lipstick to brighten her face. I would love to meet her.

حذفVery true with the lipstick! It was the same for the Queen and I think it happens to every woman, but we are used to eye makeup. And Anne also has quite well-sized and expressive lips - and a charming smile.
حذفGreat look for P Anne. She doesn’t wear makeup, of very little. I much prefer this to foundation makeup and heavy penciled in brows like the queen. A little blush and lipstick and your ready for the day.
حذفRed lipstick is not recommended for older women, especially when the rest of the make-up is not done. For an older women beauty specialists are recommending soft tones as well for make-up, eye make-up, lipstick, brows, etc... It has nothing to do with the size of your lips on the contrary. Lipstick alone cannot brighten up your face if the rest is not taken care of.

ردحذفThe Princess Royal looks stunning, love the length of her blue jacket, perfect fit. The dress is gorgeous. Her hat suits her well. Love the b/white double strand pearl necklace. Her brooch, not quite sure what it is, but perfectly placed. The Queen looks beautiful, love her diamond thistle brooch, beautiful choice. The embellished or embroidered, additions are wonderful, adding interest to this beautiful royal blue coat. Her hat suits her well. Love the pearl choker and her pearl earrings.

ردحذفIf Princess Anne had gone for navy accessories, and ideally, ditched the gloves, she would have made first place for me. The colour of Queen Camilla’s outfit is lovely but I feel a touch of contrast somewhere would have made it even better.
Princess Anne was a surprise. Her ensemble looks pretty new. We’re so used to seeing her in outfits she’s had for decades,it’s lovely to see something new(ish). The color is lovely. I like the jacket over the printed skirt,it really helps the look to come together.

ردحذفBut wow, Anne is looking super sharp. It's great to see her wearing something bright instead of her more usual muted colours -- which are very hard for a mature woman to pull off. I like that her outfit looks more modern, and the big hat suits her better than small fussy ones. I never enjoy her combination of glove, bag and shoe colours -- but Anne always sticks to a narrow formula in this regard. That said, I still regard this as one of her best ever looks. Lyra.

ردحذفThe best garment I am seeing here is Princess Anne's blue jacket. Or she wore this jacket before, or it is a new one. These short jackets are fashion again. The hats of both ladies are too big.
ردحذفWhy those ugly gloves again ? It is Summer 2025. You know Anne it is not by wearing gloves that you are going to protect yourself from germs. And then Camilla and Charles with their umbrella's. Did the weather forecasts were announcing rain in Scotland ? Was there no heat in Scotland ? Looking at the ladies in the public, they all wear summer dresses with short or without sleeves. I think it was warm there too.
And why shouldn’t she wear gloves. I would too if I had to shake hands when you don’t know where they have been. She may have to touch food like a canapé after and not have the opportunity to wash her hands. If anyone knows protocol it is P.Anne. Yes to gloves

حذفWhy she is the only royal who is wearing gloves ? The king and queen don't wear gloves, Duchess Sophie don't wear gloves and they don't get ill. Even Princess Catherine doesn't, although she has more reason to do so than all the others. You are contradicting yourself, is it to protect herself or for protocol ? If it was for protocol why the king and queen don't do it ? I think they are supposed to know protocol too.

ردحذفOn the rather dark coloured lipstick, given how many wrinkles surround her mouth, I believe one is well advised to create some contrast that takes the eye away from the mouth (or to put it another way: any light shade would have been less flattering).
Good showing overall, takes some stamina to meet and greet eight thousand people at their age. Hat off.
Both ladies look lovely in their outfits. Wonderful to see PRINCESS Anne in this vibrant colour.
