The Duchess of Edinburgh visited Bosnia and Herzegovina to attend the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide. On the third day of her visit, the Duchess met with religious leaders in Sarajevo who are working to promote peace, reconciliation, and cooperation within their communities. She also visited the European Union Force (EUFOR) in Bosnia and Herzegovina and met with NATO commanders at their Sarajevo headquarters.

Well looks like she found the caped dress trend, though it looks nice there is something about the colour on her that is different. I like the blue dress very nice colour for her. I read somewhere that the high waist in front to lower in back doesn’t give the fabric any flow. This just seems to follow the body and show imperfections .Not sure I have explained it correctly.

  2. Sophie porte un modèle brodé dont la couleur bleue lui va bien ; à mon humble avis, il me semble qu'avec le volant moins long, son look serait meilleur !

The dress by Matelier could have been a beautiful dress if the color was lighter. This dark blue color is too old for Duchess Sophie. The light blue dress is a rewear and does nothing for the duchess. She seems to feel comfortable in this dress type, but only can continue to wear it in private during her holidays.

The first dress has a shapeless, even monastic vibe, and the colour is draining the Duchess' complexion. The baby blue dress is a better colour for her, but the design gives an impression of heaviness. Both are a no from me. Lyra.

@Anon 15:55 I don't think that the model looks heavy in the blue dress design.

1856. The model is thinner so the dress fits different and does not make her look heavy but it does on Sophie because she has a more mature figure

The first dress suits the religious meeting perfectly.

We've seen the second dress before on Sophie. Broderie Anglaise is the perfect fabric for summer and I love this shade of blue. Sophie looks good in this dress too, except that the frill on the sleeves doesn't seem to work on her like it does on the model. That was also my comment the first time she wore it.

The Matelier dress is beautiful, Sophie wears it very well. She is doing a useful job. We must not forget! Irene

I think the Duchess looks far better in pants suits. Her dresses are almost always a miss imo.

  8. First dress is lovely. Great style and length and I particularly like the floaty sleeves. Perhaps a scoop or v neck would have been better. The blue dress would be fine without the frill and minus about six inches in length

Both dresses look good. The black one I understand the reason for this type of ensemble she looks lovely.

Does someone know that if the Princess of Wales always has a hairdresser, why Duchess Sophie does not have? When Kate was a duchess, she always had a hairdresser.

Probably because of rank. One is a Crown Princess (next Queen, higher rank therefore bigger allowance) and the other one isn't.
