On June 10, the Princess of Wales visited the Victoria and Albert Museum East Storehouse in London. During her visit, the Princess received a behind-the-scenes tour to learn more about how the space is used and the cultural destination's 'order an object' system. The East Storehouse is the first of two new cultural sites under the V&A East umbrella to launch in East London. The second, the V&A East Museum, is scheduled to open in spring 2026.

The V&A East Storehouse houses more than half a million artefacts, including 350,000 library books, 250,000 objects, and thousands of letters, posters, and flyers. Its collection also includes dresses that belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth II, Keith Moon's drum kit, shoes designed by Zaha Hadid, and a petal from the London 2012 opening ceremony cauldron.

    -Astrid.

She is pretty as always, but somehow this suit looks as if it were one size smaller than it should be. This sounds almost absurd as nothing is too small for her small frame - but this suit is somehow too ... tight? And for such a tight fit, the pointed shoulders do not match it well. In short, I really don't like this suit - in a similar way like I don't like her extremely tight pants (those mostly worn with boots). She can do well with just a bit more loose fabric around her silhouette. The colour is a fabulous one and I like the necklace.

Yes well said. She does look fab - but the sleeves are too short, the jacket too, and the trousers.

Only Alexander McQueen can make such an exquisite jacket, and it is exactly C’s style!

I don't like the length of the pants. I know that's the style of this particular suit but, I still don't like it. JMO.

I think Anon. 19:46 has right.
    1. I never liked the pointy shoulders of Alexander McQueen's jackets.
    2. The pants are really too short especially with the high heels.
    3. One can see this is a style of pant suit which is not fashionable anymore.
    4. We've seen her in a more loose style of pant suit not so long ago and I found it suited her very well, but she received bad comments for the color which was a sort of dark mustard or tobacco color .... Although other royal ladies have worn this color too, apparently on this blog there are several colors which are not appreciated being everything from olive green, cactus, pea soup over mustard, curry, tobacco, etc... I can't remember which was the brand Princess Catherine worn and on what ocassion. Or could it be a pant suit by Victoria Beckham ?

PoW looks great in this suit. I do like the jacket unbuttoned. The pants are too short for such high heels . They appear to be above ankle length.

Nice but the pants are too short.

Agreed. It's like the pants length is always a bit off; the other week - the Vitoria Beckham suit - pants way too long (they are supposed to touch the floor, not drag it) and now these. Can someone please help her find the sweet spot for her inseams?!

  8. The pants length is a bit short for my liking, but I prefer this as opposed to the baggy and dragging on the ground pants that are currently in vogue. The jacket I like, and its good to see her wearing a necklace. The color of the ensemble is beautiful.

I just went back and looked at Princess Marie of Denmark had the same style of trousers a couple of weeks ago. I like the duchess’s outfit, colour, style and fit. It’s nice to see her wearing more jewellery..

Yes it is true that Princess Marie wore also trousers which were too short. She wore also black nubuck leather shoes with high heels. Totally out of fashion. Wearing more jewellery is not making your outfit look better when it doesn't fit anymore.

The Princess of Wales is dazzling in her electric blue pantsuit and the lighter shade of her hair (it is seemingly a balayage work) suits her beautifully.
Wonderful visit and something in tune with her interests, as can be seen in Pic 1.
Well chosen and striking jewellery too.
I am so glad to see here again.
