Queen Rania and her family have arrived in Venice to attend the three-day wedding celebration of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez. Queen Rania, Crown Prince Hussein, Princess Rajwa, Princess Iman, and Jameel Thermiotis attended the pre-wedding reception. For the occasion, Queen Rania wore a gown from Fendi’s Fall/Winter 2018 Couture collection, while Princess Rajwa opted for a viscose jersey turtleneck evening dress by Tom Ford.

She should not have been there with her son and daughter-in-law
ReplyDeleteWhy? If you are going to make a comment like this, you should explain yourself so don't sound idiotic. Please enlighten us as to why Rania should not attend the same wedding as her son and his wife, and her daughter and her husband. I do not follow the logic.
Delete@20:48 I was appalled when I saw Rania was attending. Now I see she's brought Hussein, Rajwa, Iman, & Jameel to that over-the-top affair. I wonder why the Jordanians were invited. Other than that, she looks very nice - young & fresh, trying to cover up among the extremely embarrassingly revealing low-low-lowcut gowns. ~~Ruthie
Delete@20:48 I’d love to learn more? @1:02 don’t be nasty, calling someone’s comment idiotic - it’s not fair and it’s sad to read here.
Delete20:48 In fact, making a statement like this without any argumentations sounds idiotic.
DeleteIt is not nasty but just the way you resonate.
01:14 Embarassingly revealing who what???
DeleteAnon 01:02: maybe by reading the next comments my answer becomes clearer to you, anon 20:48
DeleteThere is such a Hoopla about this wedding but I won't get into the politics of it nor who's attending and who isn't. Sticking to fashion, I love Rania's outfit. I think the shoulder shawl makes a very positive difference and elevates the look. I also like the colour and her part pony-tail hair do as well.
ReplyDeleteWish we had a better view of P. Rajwa's gown but perhaps more photos will be coming. With three days of celebrations, there will be lots of outfits on display, I'm sure.

The Queen looks 35 with her striking figure and immaculate hair and makeup. The outfit is stunning on her! MR
DeleteRania looks pretty. But what’s the connection between Bezos and the Jordanian royal family? Is it just money meets money - or something of substance?
ReplyDelete@anon 21:17
DeleteI guess Jordan depends a great deal on American money. Since Trump became president they need to cosy up to the republicans. This is for their pr (I hope), or they are actually friends with Bezos (I hope not).
"cosy up to the Republicans" This is not a political website. Keep your politics out of it.
DeleteVery nice outfit and lovely color dress Q Rania is wearing. I am surprised she and her family were guests at this wedding. My invitation must have gotten lost in the mail again haha.

This is a very distinctive dress the Queen is wearing, suits her well, pretty color.
ReplyDeleteThe wedding is a extravaganza of 20 mlj.
ReplyDeleteRania looks exquisite! I love her dress. For me, shawls usually don't enhance an outfit, but this stole is perfection. I am hoping to see a better picture of Rajwa's gown. The fashion watching over the next few days should be exciting.
ReplyDeleteIl n’y a pas de quoi se vanter d’assister à ce mariage. Rania aurait dû s’abstenir.
ReplyDeleteThe Queen wear the same dress Lisa Bonet wore at the Oscar in 2018 I think. This Fendi dress is gorgeous! Well, the Queen is too...
ReplyDeleteI was surprised that the Jordanian RF were in attendance. But then read, that they have been friends with the groom for near on a decade.
ReplyDeleteI love QR dress, with the chiffon shoulder covering adding a little modesty in hiding the shoulders. She looks amazing.
I wish we could see more of PR Tom Ford dress, but what we can see,she too looks lovely. Particularly with her hair up in a high bun. Very glamorous.
I thought the photos of CPH and PR with their daughter Iman were so precious. She really is as cute as a button.
Lowri.
La Reine est superbe dans cette robe Fendi sous laquelle on peut remarquer le rajout d'une sorte de jupon court afin de ne pas montrer la transparence comme sur le mannequin !
ReplyDeleteI don't get it with that shawl. If she wanted to be more decent in whatever way, there are several choices open, it does not have to be a gown with naked arms. My first and lasting association with that shawl (which it is not) : looks like a bondage. And it is not that far-fetched, just imagine how she is supposed to be helped into those Venice boats or out of them if she cannot lift her arm. So - sorry, beautiful gown and hair and everything, but that bondage is slightly ridiculous. - Her participation is none of my business, but I hope I am allowed an opinion: not really appropriate for a queen.
