One more cape. With all due respect for her and her diligency, she looks a bit like "Superwoman".

A few capes here and there are lovely but yes, the cape trend this year is a bit much for me too. I saw a woman today wearing tiny black hot panes and then basically cape trousers, totally see through, simply leg capes. I was bewildered.

The cape outfit is a rewear. She wore it for the first time for the state visit of the G.D. Luxembourg to Belgium last year. The head band is older. Queen Mathilde will continue to wear these cape outfits as they are all more or less new. I think she likes to wear them.

She is looking pretty, although she is looking older.

She's pretty but her choice in clothing is aging most of the time.

    2. Agreed. I don't think this is a particularly flattering outfit, especially when Queen Mathilde is seated. I generally like the caped outfits but I think the cape here is too much.

If she wants she can ask her dress maker to take the cape away and make sleeves of the fabric.

I like the color of the jumpsuit and deafinitely the loser fit of the clothing, so I am not going to fuss about the cape. I would have left that headpiece at home. It just doesn't quite go with the jumpsuit.

Something about this outfit just doesn't look right. I think it's the color? It looks dated and makes her look older.

It cannot be the color because pink in all its variations is fashion this spring and summer.

It CAN be the colour, because even if a colour is in fashion, it doesn’t mean that it’s nice or suits various people. Fashion is a very weird thing really!

  7. The color of the outfit, I like. The headpiece, is a no, doesn't appeal at all. She looks quite lovely.

  8. A mon humble avis, cette cape me semble superflue ou alors avec une coupe à hauteur des coudes ; j'aime bien sa coiffe surtout quand je regarde son côté droit !

Really love this color for Queen Mathilde. I think the outfit itself is quite pretty on her but the headband adds nothing. I think the whole look would be better without the headband. I also think a bit deeper lip color would have brightened things up--as it is, Mathilde looks a bit washed out in some of the photos.

Une partie très moderne qui de dos fait chauve souris ou batmann au choix, couleur rose jambon, avec une coiffe genre rombière, dans l'art de se gâcher, peut mieux faire, surtout pour une si jolie personne... Marie
