On June 11, 2025, Queen Camilla joined shortlisted authors and former winners to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Women’s Prize for Fiction at Bedford Square in London, ahead of the award ceremony. The Women’s Prize Trust is dedicated to improving access to and appreciation of women’s writing for all readers through its prestigious Women’s Prize for Fiction and Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction awards.

During the event, Queen Camilla met authors shortlisted for both prizes, along with judges and past winners from the Fiction Prize’s illustrious 30-year history. To mark this significant anniversary, the Trust introduced a one-time literary honour – the Women’s Prize Outstanding Contribution Award. The Queen congratulated the inaugural recipient, acclaimed novelist Bernardine Evaristo, who received the award in recognition of her significant impact on the world of literature.

Her dress is drab and her blue shoes don't match anything.

Camilla looks happy and comfortably in this re-wear, which is part of her standard wardrobe, but I am more intrigued by some of the other guests who have opted for more interesting clothing choices: 1st photo lady with the asymmetrical yellow coat, 2nd photo lady on the extreme right, 3rd photo lady in the red and black long dress standing beside Camilla, and finally, the multi-coloured patchwork dress of the lady in the 4th photo. All interesting... and great to see them being original and dressing to their own taste and style.

Here I cannot speak of style anymore. My cleaning lady is dressed better than the majority on these pictures.

Queen Camilla is somewhat out of her comfort zone.

Thus, she wears a pair of brightly coloured shoes. What is to be appreciated. I celebrate the weak beginnings.

It's always a pleasure to see women together.
Somewhere where there are women, there is an abundance of joy, love and empathy.

  5. The lady wearing the asymmetrical yellow jacket. Very stylish. Queen Camilla looks lovely.

  6. Tout de suite sur la première photo, mon regard s'est attardé sur la veste jaune au boutonnage asymétrique ; j'aime beaucoup !

  7. The ensemble that Queen Camilla wears is more suitable to be worn at home not for a public function. The shoes are a most unfortunate choice of accessory

Not just Camilla's but these outfits are a discredit to fashion. They are being publicly recognized for their talents and this is the best they have to offer: shoes don't match outfits, tattoos too visible, white skirt way too short and one's boobs are practically hanging out. I am of the old school - you never get a second chance to make a good first impression!
