Madeline made clear she would not cross the line, trading on her royal status. This clearly shows she HAS crossed the line.

This palace is open to the public, it is not a residence so perhaps using it or one of the outbuildings is okay, just a nice venue.

Now, choose a venue in Stockholm where this business meeting should have taken place and , please, give the name.
I am sure Madeleine will be ready to take notes.

      Well said.
Pity someone embarks on her oddest statements without delving into correct information in the first place.
I'd say: if you do not have the most basic intel re: Swedish buildings and venues, why write haphazard comments?
Same goes for Madeleine's business venture: if you don't like her and her activity why insist on belittling her?
      Bah.

Oh P. The Original, you’re too critical sometimes ! It’s a completely reasonable question by that commenter, and I’m sure she’s also now pleased to learn that it’s just a nice public venue.

You know, if someone butts in on a post on Madeleine just to belittle her and her job in every possible way, yes, I get critical (without ' too') as a consequence.
Hope the commenter learned something, though I doubt it.
If the above mentioned commenter is really willing to learn about things , she asks clever questions without being too judgemental on a royal lady living in a city she seems to know nothing of.
I didn't know that any commenter on this blog needs a lawyer, lol.

  2. I'm not a fan of the baggy pants, but this three piece suit looks wonderful. She looks so chic and stylish.

P the original; well said. Totally agree, her husband is not required to be with her when she is promoting her business. He has a life too separate and apart from her business venture.

      Yes, you are exactly right.
I 'll never make out why a husband is supposed to share every single moment with her wife , especially if their jobs are different.
It gives me a bad aftertaste , like wanting to have everything and everyone in control.
      No, not for me.

Beautiful three-piece suit and she is beautiful as ever. I don't mind if she does business and earns money, but it disturbs me that she gets publicity for her private business endeavour in a royal palace. This publicity and the royal palace should be reserved for royals supporting charities. Slightly nauseating for me.

Now, your comment sounds rather whimsical to me or should I say once again grotesque?
So, you seem to imply that a husband should be in attendance at every single step in her wife's activity.
      And what for?
To take control over his wife, maybe?
This is a dangerous, outdated patriarchal perspective!
Please, update your approach to the real, modern world we all are living in.
This is Madeleine's business venture , not her husband's.

‘Mrs Madeleine Bernadotte’?? You are wrong!!! She is HRH Princess Madeleine Therese Amelie Josephine Princess of Sweden Duchess of Halsingland and Gastrikland!!! She has never been stripped of her HRH Title nor has she ever relinquished it. Her children and those of her brother Prince Carl Phillip had theirs removed but not the daughter of the King and Queen of Sweden. They are very happy for her to do something for her future after they leave and her sister takes the throne. Also Christopher O’Neil chose to stay a private citizen and refused a title though Princess Madeleine still chose at the time of her childrens births to name them HRH Princesses and Prince of Sweden!!!

Madeleine is using her name, Madeleine Bernadotte, in her business venture. No one has suggested she has lost her HRH or her title. Kindly research a little before getting so excited.

Not usually a fan of wide-legged trousers or trouser suits but Madeleine pulls this off and looks gorgeous too. I also like she's changed the buttons--her choice elevates the suit from more on the casual side to a sophisticated princess business look.

I’m meaning Princess Madeleine herself said in an interview in Germany about 8 weeks back when questioned about her Royal status and her business that ‘Some years ago’ it was decided that only the ‘Crown Princess Family and their children would retain their HRH Royal titles and the focus would be on them’ that therefore she and Prince Carl Phillip were told they could go and persue other interests and make a living which Prince Carl Phillip has designed pieces with Georg Jensen in connection with the ‘Bernadotte collection’ which was Prince Bertil of Swedens thing. Those criticising the Princess should withhold their judgement. She was born Royal is the youngest daughter of the current Monarch King Carl Gustaf of Sweden and Queen Silvia. She actually has always been uncomfy with the cameras and the spotlight and is in true life actually quite shy. So I think she’s very brave and inviting the press to a castle that’s not the main one she’s done so where she’s comfortable. And better now the King and Queen are not young. Soon Victoria will be Queen of Sweden

@Anon 10:44 Why do you care so much? If it is alright with the king and the appropriate advisors, that should be good enough for a bunch of yahoos commenting on a fashion blog. While you may think she is so privileged that she being set up for success, it is also a curse being born a princess/prince. Royal families do not give unlimited financial support to extended family. The lesser royals (spares) need to support or help support themselves. There are added expenses to being in a royal family. Instead of celebrating the fact that she is working, you find fault. It is far, far more objectional seeing the royals that have been brought up with no useful skills to survive in the real world, and as a result, expect to be supported in a luxurious style.

Lovely three-piece suit that Madeleine carry off really well and create effortlessly polished look. She has very pretty, long and thick hair but I'd like to see her hair in an updo for a change.

I like this aqua green pantsuit on Madeleine, it suits her beautifully.
All the other ladies look well dressed and nice.
I don't know who the young lady in Pic 3 is, presumably a model enrolled for publicity purposes.
I actually set my eyes on those two pretty bags (pics 3 and 5) by Chanel and YSL respectively!

What's the point or she has permission or she has not. If she has permission to do what she is doing in the palace it is fine with me. I do not spend time in giving critics on what a foreign princess of a foreign country might do or not. We are far away from a fashion site, again.
