On Monday, June 16, 2025, Princess Charlene attended the “Women with Purpose” luncheon at the Café de Paris, held as part of the 64th Monte-Carlo Television Festival. The event was organized by the House of Akris, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2022. “Women with Purpose” is an initiative launched by Akris to spotlight influential women who, through their commitment, help shape a fairer, more inclusive, and more equal world.
The “Women with Purpose” initiative is a living tribute to the legacy of Alice Kriemler-Schoch, the visionary founder of the fashion house in 1922. Today, the initiative is carried forward by her grandson, Albert Kriemler, the brand’s director.
During the luncheon, the House of Akris welcomed the talented Robin Wright into its community. The American actress, director, and producer will receive the Crystal Nymph Award—presented by Princess Charlene—at the festival’s closing ceremony on the evening of June 17. For the occasion, Princess Charlene wore a cotton shirt dress by Akris.
Charlene has been a great ambassador for Akris.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shirt dress, matches the color of her skin tone. good or not good?
The colour is fine but I think she looks even better in the photo holding the flowers which tells me a bit more colour on her is better still. All guests in photo 1 are in coordinating neutrals. Accident or planned?
Deletei think Akris only does neutral colors jidhing from Charlene's previous choices.
DeleteWow, and gone is the black. She looks so lovely in this blush colour. Lovely hair and makeup. Perfect choices.
ReplyDeleteCharlene just keeps getting lovelier!

P Charlene always dresses perfectly! Some other royals could learn from her.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful look. I like the shirt dress trend. No matter shape or budget a shirt dress looks good and feminine on most. I like the unusual flare of this dress. It’s gathered to the front and straight A line to the back. The soft blush color is flattering.
ReplyDeleteThe belt emphasises the clinched waist of HSH.Perfection!
Lowri.
I agree, lovley
DeleteThis is a really good outfit choice from Charlene — it's summery yet business appropriate. This outfit proves that when it comes to style, less is often more. - Siri
ReplyDeleteAgree, a perfect choice for the occasion.
DeleteI’ve always been fascinated by the rags-to-riches story behind A-K-R-I-S.
Two hundred years ago, it was a small Swiss, family owned company making aprons.
Still a private Swiss company but now working at a haute couture level presenting restrained luxury fashion for the rich, the famous and the royal ladies of the world.
Princess Charlene is a wonderful ambassador for them.
The late founder of the company, Alice Schoch, would be proud knowing that she is taking part in this “all-ladies” event.
I have loved all the dresses that Charlene has worn during the last fortnight.
ReplyDeleteHer hair and makeup have looked great too.
Cate.
A refreshing and classic look on Charlene! Hair and makeup are spot on. Beautiful and ladylike! MR
ReplyDeleteCharlene looks beautiful in this classic shirt dress from Akris! She seems to be finding all the pretty, feminine looks Akris has this spring/summer. She looks wonderful in pastels--the photo of her with the bouquet is lovely--with a wonderful contrast of her dress and the bright flowers.
