On June 10, 2025, King Philippe and Queen Mathilde visited the newly opened galleries dedicated to The Decorative Arts of the 19th Century, Belgian Art Nouveau, and Belgian Art Deco at the Royal Museums of Art and History, located in the Parc du Cinquantenaire (Jubelpark). These fully renovated spaces span 1,200 square meters and feature exceptional objects — some of which are on public display for the very first time.

Among the masterpieces is Victor Horta’s winter garden designed for Jean Cousin. In 1900, Cousin, who owned two mansions at 24 and 26 Chaussée de Charleroi, commissioned Horta to build an annex at the rear of No. 26. The complex included several rooms, one of which was a winter garden known as the Salle Cousin. The elements of the Salle Cousin were dismantled in 1969 to save them from demolition.

She looks lovely, although this hair styling isn't my favourite one.

If she changes her pants to white, it will be fine. The complete bright orange outfit reminds me of convicts from American prisons.

  3. Belle silhouette dans cette association dont le haut est asymétrique ; j'aimerais revoir Mathilde avec les cheveux plus courts - Est-ce que je vois ses boucles d'oreilles feuilles de papyrus ?

Is this still normal ? When Queen Mathilde's hair was shorter almost everyone on this blog wrote that she had to let grow her hair so that she could style it like other queens and princesses. Now that it is longer you wish her to have her hair shorter again. And than those (@ Anonymous 10:28) who cannot do anything else than writing bad comments about her outfits, no matter what she is wearing. Isn't it Stephanie ? Well this outfit is looking good on Queen Mathilde. It is looking as good as when she wears red. Queen Mathilde is a queen that has style and likes to dress according the latest fashion rules Although this ensemble of top and pants was new in May 2020, she wore it every year on several occasions. As far as I know orange is still a fashion color since then. If you do not like somebody for any reason what so ever, please skip the item and keep your rude comments for yourself.

Lovely colour and style for the queen. I like her hair very soft and feminine, and a little of her natural colour coming through. Elegant lady.
