On the afternoon of Tuesday, June 10, Queen Máxima opened the student well-being working conference organized by the MIND Us Foundation at Noordeinde Palace. Queen Máxima serves as the honorary chair of MIND Us. The conference brought together over one hundred representatives from municipalities, educational institutions, umbrella organizations, student organizations and associations, and knowledge institutions.
Following Queen Máxima’s opening speech, the municipality of Leiden presented its approach to student well-being. Afterwards, Queen Maxima spoke with various alderpersons from student cities about their municipal strategies regarding student well-being. The Resilience Coalition is an initiative by MIND Us aimed at strengthening the mental health of students in secondary vocational education, universities of applied sciences, and research universities.
I could take or leave the outfit but please may we have more simple and elegant hair like this from Maxima?! The jewellery is quite much but I'm not sure who else would dare wear such pieces. As ever her smile is her greatest fashion accessory! JJ
ReplyDeleteI like this Natan outfit on Maxima. She has the height to pull of these short, wide trousers, and the champagne colour of the whole ensemble gives the chunky necklace a background to be noticed. Her hair looks nice like this too.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, thoughts and best wishes to Princess Amalia who had an accident and fell off her horse and broke her upper arm. The report I read said that she is supposed to have an operation to fix it, so it sounds like more than just a simple fracture.

I was about to write a comment on Q.Maxima (truly sensational, btw) but now I feel awfully sorry to hear about Princess Amalia.
DeleteYes, thoughts, prayers and best wishes from me, too.
Quite the necklace it goes well with the neckline. I have never liked the look of culottes even on tall women. It just draws attention to the wrong area of the outfit.
ReplyDeleteI love the jacket, hair, necklace but indeed that culotte sorry but awful

Delete"It just draws the attention to the wrong area of the outfit" ? Where is the wrong area ? I don't see it. I see normal ankles and feet. The only difference with the pants of Princess Catherine and Princess Marie is the width of the trousers.
DeleteThe more these culottes look like skirts, the more I am able to like them. The shoes are a perfect match. Máximas neckpiece is not for the faint-hearted, but well, someone who sometimes happens to wear a big red lobster around her neck is not faint-hearted anyway and I like this neckpiece.
ReplyDeleteThis look isn't for everyone. You have to have a very exuberant personality to wear such a flashy necklace. But it's Máxima's style. I think she looks really good.
ReplyDeleteYes I fully agree Maxima looks lovely ; the outfit is not for everyone but she wears it very nicely, event in the details.
DeleteRight, it is not for everyone - but Queen Sonja pulls this off perfectly too: https://www.newmyroyals.com/2022/06/queen-sonja-opened-open-doors.html :-)
DeleteCoulettes are not for everyone, but Queen Maxima has the height to carry this outfit off gracefully. The material looks elegant and, I love her choice of shoes for this ensemble. Not crazy about the big jewelry normally, but it seems to go with the color scheme. I love her look!
ReplyDelete@Virginia I take it you mean culottes? Because coulettes means something entirely different ;-) But I agree with your opinion on the outfit!
DeleteJ’adore sa tenue et ce collier que seule Maxima peut porter aussi bien.
ReplyDeleteMy dear OTT Maxima knows how to keep a party going.😁
DeleteThe brooch is unique! She looks quite good in this ensemble.
ReplyDeleteQueen Maxima is looking very beautiful.

Cette jupe-culotte dont les jambes sont fluides sied à merveille à sa longue silhouette - Ses boucles d'oreilles à clips sont dans le même style que son magnifique collier ; j'adore, j'adore !
