On May 26, King Carl Gustaf and Crown Princess Victoria met with Swedish honorary consuls serving in Asia and Oceania. Fifty-eight honorary consuls based in Australia, Brunei, the Philippines, Indonesia, Japan, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and East Timor were welcomed in the afternoon by the King and Crown Princess at the Royal Palace.
The honorary consuls are visiting Sweden for a major consular conference organized by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs. There are approximately 320 Swedish honorary consulates worldwide. The role of an honorary consulate is to assist embassies and career consulates in various matters. An honorary consul may be either a Swedish or foreign citizen.
-Dorothe-
ReplyDeleteWow I am not sure what style would tame her hair, but I do not think short is the answer, it would just be a poof ball. Also I was of the understanding that hair that has been coloured is not a candidate for donating. Imo
DeleteAs a fellow very frizzy hair sister to Victoria, I absolutely understand why she wears it pulled back. A short hairstyle would be very hard to control!
DeleteI love the fact that her signature hairstyle is the bun She always wear. I’ sure she feels more confortable

DeleteYour suggestion about CP Victoria's hair is not a solution. I have myself hair that curls naturally. When my hair stylist colored it or cut it my hair is beautiful but, once I have to wash it, the effect is gone. The frizzy curls are back. In my opinion Victoria is looking the best with her hair separate in the middle and a low updo in the neck. With a side part instead of a separation in the middle she looks good too. Maybe she could learn to do this herself or if it takes too much time, have done it by somebody of her personal assistants each time she must go out. Saying that short hair would made her look younger is not true. She looks no older than her own age, she is a beautiful lady.
-Dorothe-
Delete‘High neck, floaty floral’ is certainly a familiar theme for CPV. It’s nice enough but seems more suited to a garden party. She is such a striking woman and I think these very pretty dresses work against her somehow. I’d love to see her experiment with more architectural looks, maybe some Dries van Noten? She has the height and presence to carry them off. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteI do love the traditional dress, really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautifull dress!
ReplyDelete@King Carl Gustaf: Can you please abdict
