On May 9, 2025, Queen Mary of Denmark visited the Danish Kidney Association’s dialysis clinic in Svaneke, on the island of Bornholm. The Association operates three guest dialysis clinics—located in Skallerup in Northern Jutland, on Fanø, and in Svaneke. Queen Mary has served as the patron of the Danish Kidney Association since 2005.
Upon her arrival at the clinic, Queen Mary of Denmark was welcomed by Michael Buksti, Director of the Danish Kidney Association; Lenette Ipsen, nurse and clinic manager for guest dialysis; and Karin Pihl Andersen, Chair of the Association’s Bornholm branch. Eight-year-old Martha from Nexø School presented her with flowers.
During the visit, she observed how dialysis treatment is performed and gained insight into what it’s like to live with dialysis three to four times a week, along with the many restrictions it involves. More than 3,000 people in Denmark undergo dialysis due to kidney failure.
J’aime beaucoup cette chemise en jean brodée ; à mon avis, il me semble que portée avec un pantalon blanc ceinturé de camel, cela aurait donné un meilleur look !
ReplyDeleteMary's outfit is well put together. It looks very neat it suits her. But gee she needs a hair cut just a few inches off would look nicer.
