On May 14, 2025, Queen Camilla visited Westminster Abbey in London to unveil the foundation stone for the King Charles III Sacristy building. The new sacristy will be constructed on the footprint of the medieval Great Sacristy, originally built in the 1250s during Henry III's reconstruction of the Abbey. The King Charles III Sacristy will provide state-of-the-art welcoming, ticketing, and security facilities for the Abbey.

Designed in harmony with the Abbey's Gothic architecture, the new building will honor the history of the original sacristy while enhancing the Abbey's role as a place of worship and pilgrimage. The project will enable visitors and worshippers to follow in the footsteps of royalty by entering the Abbey through the Great West Door – the ceremonial entrance used for royal weddings, funerals, and coronations for centuries.

Her signature look with what looks like new shoes. Very nice. I also like the dress on the lady in the first photo.

On the first picture I thought she was wearing a skirt and jacket with a white blouse underneath. On the third picture I saw the zipper in the front. Bye, bye the good progress she made yesterday wearing the coat and trousers.

I think the zip may be her preference because it allows her to dress herself. At age 77 buttons can be hard. The zips are very well and finely added and barely visible.

Nice figure flattering outfit, more of this in another colour, fabric or print….

Sorry Camilla, this saggy, lifeless dress, is inadequate.

My opinion is that this dress suits her very well - see close up pic 3, beautiful against her face. A fresh print made very lovely with the white contrast. Very elegant look for Camilla, without any fussiness.

I think, Camilla's outfit is very chic and it flatters her - I can't see any "sagginess". Camilla shows what money and a very good couture atelier can do for a woman of 77 years who doesn't have a model's body.

  9. Camilla porte une robe à pois dont la fluidité lui apporte une superbe silhouette même si je pense quand même que les épaulettes ne sont pas nécessaires !

This style of dress suits her very well but I do think the shoulders of the design are a little too padded.
