Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice attended the opening day of the 2025 Chelsea Flower Show at the Royal Hospital Chelsea in London. The sisters toured some of the featured gardens, including Horatio’s Garden, Down’s Syndrome Scotland Garden, Hospice UK Garden for Compassion, Avanade Intelligent Garden, and Cha No Niwa Japanese Tea Garden.
Princess Eugenie shared a series of photos from the visit on her personal Instagram account, showing the royal sisters walking through the gardens with their arms around each other. Both opted for floral outfits at the show. Princess Eugenie wore a white floral-print halter dress by Rebecca Vallance, while Beatrice chose a floral dress by The Vampire’s Wife.

Princess Eugenie wears a beautiful sun dress. I will not say that her dress is too long today. The hemline of this dress cannot be made shorter because of the print. If you do that it is quite possible that the result is not beautiful. I wonder why she wears this big bag (handbag) lately. The style of this handbag is not beautiful with the dress. Her slippers are gorgeous but she has much courage to wear them outside the house. Too dangerous to injure your toes or your entire foot.
ReplyDeletePrincess Beatrice's dress has a good length. But I don't like the colors and flowers of the print. Too much old window decoration. Lucky they have a good understanding and can enjoy each others company.

Agree with your thoughts on the low backed dress, but you forgot to mention those weird slip in shoes, that are NOT suited for wearing to walk about at a flower show. Somehow, these sisters just never can seem to get it right.
DeleteNegative much? They have been in the public eye since the day they were born. They are not ill at ease, nor exaggerating. What is wrong with a backless dress in May? The weather dictates the style of the dress. If it is warm enough, why should it be a problem? Are you suggesting that people who live in warm and tropical climates can only wear warm weather clothes during a few months of the year and should be bundled up the rest of the year? If you knew anything about Eugenie, you would know that she has a scar down her back from scoliosis surgery in her childhood. The fact that she isn't hiding it is wonderful. She first exposed it on her wedding day. Her wedding was in October, so I suppose you would have disapproved of her wedding dress as well.

I love that most dresses we can see on visitors to Chelsea are flower themed! Eugenie’s is very lovely and I assume it was warm enough during the visit to be backless.

ReplyDeleteAs for Bea, if only she wasn't wearing the dark top I'm sure her dress would look great on her too. Pointless to wear a pretty, short sleeve dress if you're going to cover it up with a long sleeved jacket or sweater, even if it is for sun protection.

ReplyDeleteLovely dresses for both of the princesses. I especially love Eugenie's. The cut and pattern are very flattering. She seems to have a very nice new hairstyle. I like these shoes both are wearing. Not sure about P. Eugenie's paper bag clutch. I suspect it's fashionable but likely a step past stylish for me.
