On Monday, May 19, 2025, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie visited the headquarters of the European Court of Auditors (ECA). The institution, which safeguards the interests of European taxpayers, is celebrating the 50th anniversary of its founding under the Treaty of Brussels this year. It has been based in Luxembourg since 1977.
The President of the ECA, Tony Murphy, along with Joëlle Elvinger, the Luxembourgish member of the Court, introduced the Hereditary Couple to the five Chambers responsible for the daily oversight of the proper use of European Union funds. The core missions of the ECA include external audits, financial controls, and the publication of reports and opinions aimed at improving financial management and promoting transparency.
This visit follows their recent tour of the European Stability Mechanism (ESM). Through these visits, Hereditary Grand Duke Guillaume and Hereditary Grand Duchess Stéphanie aims to deepen their understanding of the functioning of European institutions based in the Grand Duchy. For the occasion, Princess Stéphanie wore a suit by Emporio Armani.
This is an excellent look for Stephanie. The suit fits and flatters her. The trousers could be a tiny bit longer but that is a small quibble. (V.M.)
ReplyDeleteThis is a perfect length for pants and a lovely color on Stephanie! The purse, while nice, is a bit of a distraction. But overall, a lovely outfit!
ReplyDeleteNice colour. And yes, she's a lovely person and they are a lovely family. - Ellie
ReplyDeleteShe has got a lovely face, but the cut of this jacket is not flattering for her built.
ReplyDeleteThis is not the right jacket closure for Stephanie. For her, a lower down button or set of buttons works better. The linen jacket she wore to the scouting event was a good example of a better fit. Otherwise, she looks very pretty, and would look even more approachable if she could be made aware of how posture approved when we have hands at the side, not across our tummies. I realise this can be self consciousness but self awareness would change it and change the way her clothes sit.

DeleteThey are better dressed than usual. Princess Stéphanie's suit fits better than usual. She wears beautiful shoes. The color is special a sort of iceblue I think. It is time to invest in a couple of handbags for grown ups. This little bag she has with her sometimes looks like a first bag for a girl of 12 à 13 years old. Prince Guillaume looks better too in this navy blue suit.
ReplyDeleteGood. I just would have preferred a different top underneath.
ReplyDeleteVery nice suit for the princess, flattering, perfect colour and length. I do like her purse, the weave adds texture to the overall look of the outfit and the small size doesn’t dominate it. I like her hair half up like this.
ReplyDeleteThis color is very pretty on Stephanie and her hairstyle is beautiful. I agree with other comments that the location of the jacket closure is perhaps not the most flattering for her and a different style purse would look better (either a clutch or a purse with a short handle).

Fantastic look for Stephanie today.

While this entire ensemble is a step up for Stephanie, the jacket is still a bit small, placement of button bad for her. The solution - keep the jack unbuttoned. Carry a larger handbag, as some else suggested. Good time for a clutch. Perhaps wear a very light weight crew neck sweater ( like a merino wool or wool/silk blend) that she does not tuck in would look better for her figure. The lady in the 2-pc pale peach looks lovely and i her shoes.
ReplyDeleteThis ensemble looks very smart and stylish on Stephanie. She has such a sincere smile.
ReplyDeleteThe jacket seems a little tight, it looks like Stepanie is busting out of it. It looks uncomfortable.
