For the past 14 years, the Monaco Liver Disorder (MLD) Association has offered a special viewing area on a terrace at Quai Albert I, allowing around thirty young patients suffering from serious conditions to enjoy a day at the Monaco F1 Grand Prix. On May 23, 2025, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène visited these children at Quai Albert I. For this visit, Princess Charlène wore a painted striped cotton shirt dress by Sara Roka.
Founded in 2011 by Carla Fadoul Shechter, the MLD Association is dedicated to combating rare pediatric liver diseases, such as biliary atresia, while also raising significant awareness about organ donation. The organization supports sick children and their families by providing moral, logistical, and human support during hospitalization periods.
On the evening of May 22, 2025, Prince Albert II and Princess Charlène also attended the official reception for the 82nd Monaco Grand Prix, held in the Cour d’Honneur of the Prince’s Palace. The 2025 Monaco Grand Prix (officially known as the Formula 1 TAG Heuer Grand Prix de Monaco 2025) will take place at the Circuit de Monaco on May 25, marking the 82nd edition in the circuit’s history.

ReplyDeleteI do prefer her present hairstyle, it makes her look soft and feminine - whereas that pixie cut made her look masculine and hard. She looks so pretty with her longer hair, good haircolour and that chic summerdress.
DeleteI really don’t like her hair anymore. Short hair suited her so well. This makes her look old. Maybe her hairdresser thinks it makes her look elegant. I don’t know. She is such a beautiful woman and I always liked the modernity she brought to her role. I also think black is not her color.

Eh, he-hmm, what's wrong with looking old?! Eternal youth does not bring wisdom nor experience, nor more joy nor more beauty. As an older person :-) I notice and regret when it’s used as a criticism! But besides all that …. Charlene is late 40s, not 20, and certainly does not look her age after such an investment in her skin and face shape. I love her hair like this, and think it suits her so well. I always found the very short styles a bit severe, whereas this is soft. I’m loving the updos!

DeleteIt seems to me that some always need to find fault. When her hair was short, the comments were actually cruel at times. The truth is that she looks good with both short and long hair. Not all women can pull off long and short hair. She is probably growing her hair out now, which is always an awkward time. If so, she has found an elegant solution to the transition.

DeletePrincess Charlene is wearing a beautiful shirt dress. Not with little flowers, but a beautiful summery print. I don't like long dresses, but in this case the dress is meant to be worn like this (pic. of the model) and it suits the princess.

DeleteYou know, I kind of feel personally involved as my feet are well shaped and long and I have never bern noticed for my "small "( do you mean narrow or unconfortable or what else?) shoes.
Or simply, I was noticed for more attractive parts in my body than my feet lol!!
I must confess that I often get lots of complimenta for my shoe choices, though..

ReplyDeleteHer hairstyle does not make her old, it does make her just not look good or her optimum which is not *quite* the same as old. Also, I don't understand why people always blame the stylist when we don't even know of the person has one, and even if yes: the decision is Charlene's only. I don't like this dress and slowly it downs on me, why I don't like most patterned dresses recently: It is a dislike connected with the length of the skirt. If long, everything is simply too much (but of course: IMHO), even this otherwise pretty print. She is always smashing in black (and white) and her suit is no exception. Red lipstick would have been smashing with it (as it is mostly on her).
ReplyDeleteI enjoy thinking about materials and styles together. I don’t love the very patterned styles with copious amounts of fabric (wide skirt, waist tie etc) … but how different this print would look with a short sleeved, fitted shape, to the knee. You’ve made me think, it’s the combination of busy print + too much fabric that I don’t think looks great. The shape alone is fine, the fabric alone is fine, but not combined.
Delete@Anon 10:50, yes, exactly this, happy to read that it is not only me. Funny that otherweise geat design houses don't seem to make this connection. Of course, on their super slim and super tall models all this overflow looks much more tolerable than on an average, somewhat curvier and smaller woman.

Dans l’ensemble, je constate que la douce Princesse Charlène de temps à autre ose des couleurs d’une part. D’autre part, elle aborde jupe, robes, pour son plus grand plaisir.
Je suis très heureuse de la voir.
Je remarque néanmoins que cette douce princesse semble perdre du poids. De telle sorte que cela est remarquable.
J’espère de tout cœur que cette perte de poids est volontaire, et non involontaire. C’est-à-dire causée par une situation de stress, ou autres. Dans ce second cas, je lui souhaite de la surmonter, afin de retrouver une meilleure forme.

I like the colours of this dress and the style but for some reason it looks odd on her. Perhaps it is the way her hair is styled, not flowing enough to balance the full skirt. Also the skirt seems to be more full than on the model, maybe thats it. A nice bright lipstick would tie everything together. It just seems like all you see is the dress not her, she seems faded into the background. Odd
ReplyDeleteI must say I like the new trend of A-line skirts and dresses. I think them reminiscent of the ‘50’s style. The color contrasts on HSH dress are eye catching. I hope we see more of our royal ladies in this style.
