On May 16, 2025, Queen Mary presented the 2025 Queen Mary Scholarship to two Australian exchange students studying at the University of Copenhagen (UCPH). This year’s recipients were Emilija Celar, an archaeology student from Macquarie University, and Edward Noel Ford, a law student from the University of Sydney. Each received a grant of 15,000 DKK.
The Queen Mary Scholarship is awarded to Australian exchange students in recognition of academic excellence, engagement in university life, and their contribution to strengthening ties between the two countries.
Established in 2004 to mark the wedding of the Crown Prince Couple, the scholarship was originally named the Crown Princess Mary Scholarship. It symbolizes not only financial support, but also the close and enduring relationship between Australia and Denmark.
Pretty suit but don't like her heavy make up.
ReplyDeleteYet you stay anonymous
DeleteYou are anonymous too, Anon 23:59, or is that okay for you to remain so but no one else? I don’t like her heavy make up either but I still like Mary. Why do Mary’s fan base get so upset when someone doesn’t like something about their idol? It’s not hateful or malicious to say you think her make up is too heavy. It’s an opinion and it seems someone else agrees. And here’s my name so I don’t remain anonymous since for some reason you think that makes a difference…hmmm…today I’ll call myself Alice…next time I’ll pick a new name? 😁
DeleteWhat is so heavy about her makeup?
DeleteHer makeup is perfectly fine for a daytime event and not ageing in the least.
DeleteHeavy makeup is something totally different which would imply using some cosmetic products that are clearly missing in Mary's makeup execution.
A sharp eye would have already spotted the kind of products I'm talking about.
Sometimes better not embark on unknown topics like makeup if you lack any expertise whatsoever.
First impressions may be misleading.
Mary's pantsuit is gorgeous as well.
Très élégant ce costume en lin tant au niveau de la longueur de la veste que celle du pantalon ; belles chaussures que je crois avoir déjà vues !!
ReplyDeleteMary is attending a day event, not a night gala. Why put such a heavy makeup with racoon eyes.....
ReplyDeleteJust say your jealous
DeleteAgree…you wind up just seeing her make up and not really her. Too much is garish and aging…less is more when it comes to make up…
DeleteIf anyone is jealous it’s you, Anon 25:00.
Delete19.54. I agree!
DeleteMary looks good in this slim and high waist suit also my favorite fit.
ReplyDeleteThe top has had a special fabric treatment, very nice structure.
But when I see her neighbour I'm sold!
She get's fashion best, it's original and fun. The color is nice and her curly hair the icing on the cake.
I think Mary can improve on the hair with more variety in different hairstyles and please cut it a few inches like the girl next to her ( maybe ask her advice).
-Anna-
Better be careful saying anything negative about Mary’s hair, Anna. 😁 Her supporters will say you are jealous and hateful! (And I think her hair would look better with a few inches taken off. She had it cut just below her shoulders a few years ago and it was very flattering to her. Guess that makes me jealous, huh?) Louise
DeleteThe woman in the blue suit has the same length hair as Mary. There is nothing wrong with the length of her hair. This needs to stop. The obsession with the length of other women's hair is getting ridiculous. Worry about your own hair and let other women wear their hair the way they want to.
DeleteI agree with Anna - but not the hair comment. Mary’s hair is clean and healthy and neat; then she gets to choose the rest. It’s HER hair, part of her body, we - strangers! - cannot ask her to change it. But I do love this cut of suit and think the light blue suit next to her is special! - Mary

Deletere: Q.Mary's hair
Nothing will change unless Mary herself should make a different choice for her own hair.
She looks so satisfied with her long hair styled like that!
Why should she opt for styles appropriate for older ladies?
Who is she expected to please but herself?
I suggest you resign yourself and this applies to all royal ladies' hairstyle preferences you keep on criticizing.
Mary and the two award recipients are very well dressed. They all look smart, stylish and very appropriate to their individual roles in this award celebration.
ReplyDeleteReally lovely. Congratulations to all.

Nice suit.

Now that's a lovely pant suit
ReplyDeleteThis pantsuit looks lovely, the pants are perfect, not baggy, fit well.. The jacket is splendid. Love the blouse she choose. Her shoes are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteMary has a very sweet face. I remember her exactly on her wedding day, she had such a calming, motherly influence on her nervous husband. Her hair somehow smothers her delicate features, not only the harsh dye, but the length. She needs a soft element.
