On March 19, 2025, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia hosted a formal representational dinner (Representationsmiddag 2025) at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. Other members of the Royal Family attending the dinner included Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip, and Princess Christina, accompanied by Consul General Tord Magnuson.
The guest list included representatives from the diplomatic corps, parliament, government, public institutions, science, sports, business, and culture, as well as individuals the Royal Family had met during their travels. The banquet was held in Karl XI’s Gallery. The King and Queen regularly host official banquets at the Royal Palace.

Love Victoria’s dress…it looks in bloom with the beautiful colors and is very spring like. Of course there is her wonderful smile! Queen Sylvia also looks very nice with the luscious amethyst (I think?) tiara. Princess Christina is a quite elegant and charming lady. Princess Sofia must be home with the new baby. The gentleman all look dapper though the king looks a bit grumpy. (I know he’s not but he does have some interesting expressions!)

حذفI think they all look wonderful. Q.Silvia’s amethyst jewels are a perfect complement for her dress, CPV’s floral gown fits her beautifully, and P. Cristina’s long coat is very striking over her simple black gown. (V.M.)

ردحذفI loved Victoria's dress when she first wore it some years ago and still love it now as well. It's so pretty and suits her so well. Sylvia's dress is nice too, and I really like P.Christina's long sparkly coat over the black column gown. All three ladies look splendid!

I remember seeing this lovely gown before. I think it was part of several photos released on a special occasion (?) and CP Victoria left her hair loose and long to her shoulders. I thought she looked amazing.

It is good to see Victoria in this gown again. I have always thought it is very beautiful, and one of her best gowns. I find myself really liking Christina's gown. It is very becoming on a woman of her age. I am not as fond of Silvia's. It has a less formal feel to me. The floral theme of all the gowns seems to usher in Spring.

You know, amethyst is my favourite gemstone together with sapphire..
It could sound strange but I see amethyst and sapphire as spiritual gemstones as they call to my mind deeper meanings.
It's s hard to explain, though.
I have a beautiful and massive amethyst necklace I once bought from a Pakistani artist though I seldom wear it.
It has a particular light and colours which grip me, mesmerizing, so as to say.
P the original. Oh, aren't they divine. Beautiful blackberry amethyst stones, gorgeous. Oh yes, I love them as well. You need to get the amethyst necklace out and wear it!! I can only imagine how beautiful it is. Hugs!
