On January 19, 2025, Prince Albert II, Princess Stephanie, Crown Prince Jacques, Princess Gabriella, Bodie Wittstock, and Camille Gottlieb attended the third day of the 47th International Circus Festival held in Monte-Carlo, Monaco. This year, the Monte-Carlo International Circus Festival marks its 47th anniversary along with the 12th edition of the New Generation event. Princess Stephanie is the President of the Organizing Committee of the International Circus Festival.
One day I look forward to the biography - better, the autobiography! - of Charlene to understand her different decisions, hesitancies (why so few couple events attended?), meanings of her hairstyles when more extreme, struggles (why not learn French?) etc. Meanwhile she’s an enigma, who seems recently much happier, and I hope she finds her peace In it all.
ردحذفPrincess Charlene has been front and center staged for more and more couple and official events (and some solo) as of late than she has been in years past. I think that the circus is more for the children (and Stephanie) than anyone and a fun event to do with their daddy. Some time ago Charlene sweetly spoke in French at an event and you could tell that she was still proudly mastering the language and it was so endearing to watch. Being a modern Princess I think that she likes to experiment with her hairstyles and shake it up a bit!

I think she would have found more acceptance in the family and the principality if she’d worked to master French (à la Mary with Danish).

Based on the kind of comments made here over the years, I would be afraid to speak French publicly if I were Charlene. People are overly critical of everything. There will always be people that expect perfection.
