On January 21, 2025, Spain's Queen Letizia presided over a working meeting with the Spanish Federation for Rare Diseases (FEDER) to gain insight into the current state and future direction of this initiative. The Queen met with the Board of Directors of FEDER, whose mission is to create and implement strategies to improve the quality of life for those living with a rare disease. In 2025, FEDER will focus on renewing its strategic plan, which will center around the 422 patient organizations that make up the Federation.
