On January 21, 2025, Queen Camilla officially opened the new Emergency Department at Great Western Hospital in Swindon. Queen Camilla met members of staff during her visit for the official opening. The Queen then joined a reception and met groups of staff from across the organisation, along with some charitable donors. The £33.5 million urgent and emergency care expansion opened to the public in the autumn of 2024.
Nice wintery weather look from Queen Camilla. What I love seeing here is her interaction with the little ones--the warmth and genuineness of her personality are shining through. and you can tell by the reaction of the children. And you know she found a dog!

I like the outfit very much. The coat is cut well for QC and paired with her suede boots it looks warm and cosy. I think one of her greatest strengths is her ability to interact with others so easily. She’s very relatable. (V.M.)
