On January 17, 2025, Prince Laurent, Princess Claire, Princess Louise, Prince Nicolas, and Prince Aymeric took part in the annual gala concert of the Queen Paola Foundation at the Plaza Hotel in Brussels. The Queen Paola Foundation was established in 1992 as an initiative of Her Majesty Queen Paola. It aims to provide effective support for the integration and education of young people.
What a nice family-picture. The Pss and her mother Claire look so much alike. Even Prince Laurent looks happy, nice to see them all together. Nice jackets on both mother and daughter.

حذفNo it is not a popular name in Belgium. I've always heard that Nicolas comes from Princess Claire's family. Since their sons were twins they had to find a name for the other son. It could be Prince Laurent who loved that name. I've heard him say once in an interview it was an old medieval name and he loved it.
In history names which end on --ic like Childeric can be found among the Merovinger and/or Karolinger dynasties.

حذفMais il y a une grande chance que les tenues en velours bordeaux de la Princesse Claire et de sa fille la Princesse Louise viennent de chez Natan, juste comme la robe en velours bordeaux portée par la Princesse Elisabeth lors du concert de Noël. La princesse Claire portait souvent des robes de la Maison Natan dans le passé.
Merci anonyme 19 : 29 mais je ne prétends pas que l'une a copié l'autre. C'est juste un peu le même style (sans se ressembler tout à fait) et je me contentais simplement d'en faire la remarque.
