On January 14, 2025, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima hosted a New Year’s reception for foreign diplomats and representatives of international organizations based in the Netherlands. The reception was held at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam. The previous day, the Dutch Royal Couple hosted the first New Year’s reception of 2025 for Dutch guests.

حذفJassen worden tegenwoordig niet meer in de vuilnisbak gegooid maar gerecycleerd. Zowel van de versieringen als van de stof kan men vandaag andere dingen maken.

I agree with you AnnieM. Q.Maxima really is an uplifting spirit with her warm smile and colourful clothes and often quirky styles that makes us stop and take notice, pause, or comment. She is what we need to brighten these pages during these dark and cold winter months (it's -12C with a wind factor of -18C where I am presently in Canada, lol). I've missed her too and am happy to see her again.

The King looks tired to me in these pictures, and Maxima looks bedraggled and surprisingly (for her) appears to not be wearing earrings. Maybe she changed clothes inside.

ردحذفI really like Queen Maxima and her exuberance and joy. Her outfits are always colourful and a bit "quirky" - which I think is great. I like when she wears her hair up or in some kind of bun. I think she would have looked better today if her hair had been in an up-do.

Very much appreciate Maxima’s professional yet individualized suit. It is vibrant while still appropriate. I wonder if she would consider embracing her natural dark hair color. I think it would be attractive and perhaps help the overall health of her damaged hair.

ردحذفMaxima looks her own old self in a nice coloured coat. I am not especially a fan of Claes Iversen, donot think of him as a great designer.
Claes Iversen did make beautiful dresses as well for Queen Maxima as for Queen Mathilde (I like his evening gowns the best).
