On December 11, 2024, Queen Rania of Jordan visited Sahab, where she hosted a luncheon for a group of over 100 women active in the fields of education, culture, media, and civil society. Sahab Governor Ali Mawas and Mayor Abbas Maharma welcomed the Queen to the area and briefed her on several projects serving the community’s families.
