King Frederik and Queen Mary concluded their trip to Greenland with visits to Narsaq and Qassiarsuk. On July 6, 2024, the King and Queen visited the village of Qassiarsuk. During the day, the King and Queen participated in the traditional Greenlandic kaffemik, planted a new spruce tree, took a village tour, and gained insight into sports activities.
Qassiarsuk has 65 inhabitants and is located opposite Narsarsuaq on the other side of the Tunulliarfik fjord. Narsaq is a town in the Kujalleq municipality in southern Greenland.
These photos are beautiful. The royal couple look well rugged up and it has been a wonderful visit. Well done to both the King and Queen. There casual wear looks great.

ردحذفAnother example of a young modern royal couple : their sportive gear is appropriately to the circumstances. Why wearing formal clothes and have it cold. Better wear warm clothes that protect them against the weather circumstances.

حذفJe comprends que leurs tenues soient adaptées au climat froid et aux activités qu'ils font, mais l'ensemble couleur kaki de Mary me fait penser à une tenue de chasseur ou militaire, donc je n'aime pas tellement. Les premiers jours elle portait aussi un ensemble de même style, mais marron (et mêmes tenues pour ses enfants) et ça me faisait aussi penser à des tenues de chasse. Je la préfère avec la belle cape en lainage du 3e jour. La tenue de Frederik fait aussi très militaire en manœuvre. J'aime bien le beau toutou sur la dernière photo ! Paloma.

Great photos! The royal couple are obviously enjoying this whole trip and are so relaxed--I love the photo of them at the coffee mtg. In terms of fashion--I love to see Queen Mary in her athletic/country wear--she is a sporty lady and she always looks so happy in these settings. Same for the King. I have been wondering if they brought one of their dogs (or both) with them as I have seen other photos of Queen Mary with a dog that looks like their Grace.

It was reported that it was their chauffeurs wet dog that jumped in and found a place between the king and queen. It is my favourite photo from this visit to Greenland. Such a relaxed and happy photo.
