The 1st edition of the "Water Safety Days" took place in Léon in the presence of Princess Charlene of Monaco. The Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation organized the very first edition of the "Water Safety Days" in Léon in partnership with the Municipality of Léon. For the children of the municipality, introductory workshops on rescue, first aid, and water safety were held on the beach of Lake Léon.
These workshops were led by Stéphanie Barneix, ambassador of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation and world water rescue champion, along with her team of athletes including three ambassadors of the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation: Pierre Frolla and Kevin Crovetto. The event offer both children and the general public a comprehensive awareness program on drowning prevention and the preservation of the marine environment.
So nice to see her smiling and relaxed in every photo here. You absolutely know when Charlene is at her best - promoting water safety issues and working with children and young people. Brava.

ردحذفHi Fitzhugh, for which population are you quoting that data? Drowning is devastating but is quite some distance down in death causes across most countries for adult/child. I thoroughly endorse swim education too and think Charlene looks at her best out of heels and sitting on the floor smiling! - Grace
