On May 20, 2024, The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh visited the village of Golspie in Sutherland. Golspie is a village and parish in Sutherland, Scotland. The Duke and Duchess met with local schoolchildren and teachers from Golspie Primary School. The Duke and Duchess then met with members of the Golspie Rowing Club.

Hmmm, Duke of E is the best dressed. Duchess, the individual pieces are nice just not together. Perhaps if the colour from the pants was added some where it would tie in rather than this mismatch look.

ردحذفLove those trousers: fitted from waist to knees and then flared. The fabric type also makes a big difference. Seems like it is some kind of a stretch fabric? Makes the fit look good.

I appreciate that the Duchess has added pattern and color to a basic tan jacket, but the pants color doesn’t work with this combo. I also think the jacket is too long and should be removed from her wardrobe.

ردحذفAbsolutely agree. Kilts are great though Edward looks worryingly thin again especially in the last photo. The Duchess's trousers and jacket just don't match
حذفPrince Edward wins the fashion award today! Love that tartan--he looks dashing. Sophie--3 great pieces but the trousers are a real miss with the jacket and the top. Navy trousers would have been a much better choice. Even a dark green--like a forest or hunter's green would have looked much better. Thinking I'll give her a pass today as she's just back from a busy, quick trip to Italy. And I love that dog!!!

ردحذفThe Duchess looks lovely, but there is something off putting about the overall look, and I feel its the color of her pants. The jacket is lovely. The color of the pants I don't like and it doesn't blend in well with her lovely jacket.
