Mette Marit looks lovely in the red and white outfit. That Dior jacket fits her beautifully.
I like the butter yellow colour of the second outfit (I wouldn't have chosen that colour for an evening reception but the event looks to be sufficiently casual, so perhaps it was OK) but the fit of the outfit isn't great on her.
However I love seeing her and Haakon together. True love. (They seem teary in two of the photos. I wonder what caused that).

I agree, CP MM looks lovely in both outfits. Something funny must have been said too as you can see them all chuckling. (V.M.)

  3. I love the red jacket, great length and fit. The skirt I dislike, it looks stiff and unflattering. The yellow dress is pretty, she wears this color well. The President is very well dressed, she has great fashion sense. I like both outfits. Particularly love the black blouse and pants, she looks so stylish, chic and elegant. She has worn some really marvellous outfits on this visit.

Love seeing the Norwegian Royals and I like both outfits on Mette Marit and as someone wrote, I’d love to see her hair in an updo! Is it OK to say something about how someone looks - isn’t Haakon a gorgeous looking man? Ac

  5. The white skirt has taken its owner for a walk.
The Moldovan president is petite and very elegant.

Love the red jacket and the yellow dress.
The president is a very well- dressed lady.
( I think it is not done to walk hand in hand next to your guest)

What you think should be irrelevant here. Instead of telling people to hide their love and be ashamed of it why not give them a big applause.

I agree with what you say about the walking hand in hand next to your single guest. It is not terrible, it is just strange being hosts.
To Anon 11.05: this is a polite opinion, freedom of speech. He or she (Anon 07.59) never said that love must be hidden or that they should be ashamed of it.

I think it’s cute holding hands like they do, beside guests or not. Love and affection can never be wrong I think. Ac

At Anon 10/5 12:03, I agree and besides, they are walking down steps. It's the gentlemanly thing to do to take the hand of the woman nearest you as you go down steps/stairs. (The things people pick to complain about or find fault with ....)

Ridículous, they are working, not doing the monkey, Who took the hand of the other ladies? I wonder why sometimes wives are there when they are not the Head of State, only throfies..

Stop the nonsense we have seen royals also King and Queens all over Europe holding hands, and each others arms out on royal duty also state visit. What is it with you people? Do you sit at home looking for something to criticize the royals about? Must be a sad life.

So sad when people having a state visit can't keep their hands of each other. https://i.dailymail.co.uk/1s/2023/11/21/16/78067391-12775697-Prince_William_was_spotted_putting_a_reassuring_arm_around_Kate_-a-10_1700583470038.jpg

MM : beautiful red blazer, white skirt too long, beautiful yellow dress
Pres. Sandu : beautiful grey day dress, lovely black evening dress (maybe she should wear sometimes, navy or dark green if she does not wish to wear light colors)
CPHaakon : His suit is not very well ironed. How come Scandinavian (DK, SWED, NOR) royal men never wear beautiful suits. Or the trousers are too tight or too short, or the jackets are too tight. Pics 2 & 3 : Haakon's pants look to have a different color than his jacket. Maybe he wears the pants often separately.

  8. Entre les deux tenues, Mette Marit porte à merveille celle en jaune car je vois que la jupe blanche de l'autre est un petit peu trop longue mais la veste cintrée de Dior apporte un certain équilibre !

2 great outfits. She suits them both perfectly. Haakon is perfectly dressed according to high fashion. Love that they are not afraid to show their love.

As much as I respect the princely couple for their mutual, visible love for each other, I think this hand-holding is inapproprate in this context. The president of Moldavia is solo, we know nothing about her private life, which makes this intimate display even more undiplomatic in the true sense if the word.

Enjoy seeing MM, however the long white skirt does not seem to fit her style.

The princely couple is looking very beautiful and holding hands to me is coming with a relaxed meeting. They all get on very well.
