On May 5, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima attended the 2024 National Liberation Day concert held as part of the national celebrations of the liberation. The concert traditionally takes place on and around the Amstel River in front of the Royal Theater Carré. In the Netherlands, Liberation Day is annually celebrated on May 5 to commemorate the end of the occupation by Nazi Germany during the World War II. The concert traditionally marks the end of the National Liberation Celebration.

حذفMaxima looks absolutely fab here. I love the style of the outfit, but more than that I love the colour. I thought it was a dress but on another site it is listed as a top and trousers separately. Either way, it looks great on her.
ردحذفThe earrings and bracelets are the perfect jewellery accessories. Glad that she didn't pin anything to the outfit, nor wear a necklace however small or thin, as that would have taken away from the clean design elements of the top. Well done!

Alexia is the spitting image of her grandmother PBeatrix. Same eyes, mouth, expression..
حذفI totally not agree with you. If you take a closer look you see that Beatrix has smaller blue eyes while Alexia (not Amalia!) has the bigger brown eyes from Maxima and also the bigger mouth.

ردحذفA color that suits Queen Maxima very well. This Spring and Summer I saw several dark colors in several collections. I saw very dark brown, dark green, aubergine, burgundy,...
The earrings by Diane von Furstenberg are perfectly matching this outfit. Her hair extensions are looking naturally incorporated in her own hair.
I still hate Natan designs on the whole, and don't mind admitting it. I am also very pleased to see a Natan design that is attractive and happily call that out. Not everyone here is a hater, whether it comes to a designer, a particular person's hair, or one or two people. You can see the respectful comments. They admittedly don't care for Natan, for good reason, but an occasional Natan design lovely. Natan has earned its reputation for unflattering and stiff attire, thus the intense dislike.

But who cares, there are other sources and other commenters in the international press that do love the creations he made for both queens. What if I tell you that there are other and young designers who are working these days for the House of Natan ? Former Queen Paola who was known for her elegancy and beautiful clothes was already a client from Natan, longtime before Queen Mathilde became a princess and a queen. But I can understand, not everybody has good taste.
