On Friday, April 26, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima gave the starting signal for the national opening of the King's Games at KBS Klippeholm and CBS Vesterhavet in Hoofddorp. The King's Games traditionally begins with the King's Breakfast event. The Royal Couple then opens the games and watches sporting activities.
This year the King's Games focuses on the theme 'Discover!'. Children are encouraged to try new things concerning exercise and healthy food. The King's Games was first organized in 2013 with the aim of showing children in primary education and their parents that having a good breakfast together and being active are important and a lot of fun.
I love their interactions when they have outings together; such good chemistry between them. The Queen is dressed for the occasion and I find the leather culottes interesting and she pulls it off. They thoroughly engage with their audience and look so joyful. MR

I love this outfit and colour combo very much. Just wondering why Maxima is wearing the trousers so high - she doesn't usually. She looks amazing when the cape is closed in the front.

ReplyDeleteI do not care for the combination of what appear to be burgundy leather culottes with brown leather boots. Maxima’s hair looks nice in the back with the loose braid around the bun.

DeleteThe boots are not brown but have more or less the same color as the pants. Her boots are by Gianvito Rossi. With the grey top and cape she looks good. Excellent for the cold weather.
Great hair. Lovely picture, third from last, of the couple. Like the cape and the top part of the outfit but the leather trousers? culottes? with the brown boots look awful imv.
