On Monday, 29 April 2024, Princess Benedikte celebrates her 80th birthday. The organisation Dressurens Venner and a number of Princess Benedikte’s equestrian sport patronages have joined together to celebrate Princess Benedikte’s 80th birthday with a dinner at Sølyst in Klampenborg. Throughout much of her life, Princess Benedikte has been engaged in riding and horses, and The Princess has been the patron of the Danish Equestrian Federation since 1992.

ردحذفHowever, Princess Benedikte looks beautiful and so elegant as always, I find the dress a bit too pale for her. She needs a stronger color like orange or fuchsia or emerald green. I find it also too tight in stomach section. Otherwise a beautiful, elegant dress. She does not look 80 years old. Happy birthday.

Benedikte herself looks fabulous - impeccably styled and her posture (and figure) at that age are truly magnificent! I'm not overly fond of the dress - as others mentioned it washes her out a bit and the fabric reminds me of an old tablecloth. The cut, however, is intriguing. Love the shoulder detail and the way it cinches in at the waist. It suits her.

Goodness Pss Bene looks sensational. For someone her age, she looks fabulous. Love the gown, her pearl strand necklace is beautiful. The pearls are a glorious size. Love her small clutch.

She's just incredible.
I think that physical activity and horse riding in particular can explain her flawless posture and demeanour still at her age.

Maybe she wanted to be trendy with her dress choice (after all it is the summer of Italian Garden Party Core!), but given her colours, this dress washes her out a bit. Jewel colours look really great on her.
