King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema of Bhutan are making a State visit to Bangladesh at the invitation of the President of Bangladesh, Mohammed Shahabuddin. The King and Queen were welcomed by President Mohammed Shahabuddin and First Lady, Rebeka Sultana at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema then met with the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina at the Prime Minister’s office. In the evening, The King and Queen met with Bhutanese students studying in Bangladesh.

ردحذفWe are in for a treat: lots of traditional, elegant and colourful clothing, I love it! Especially Queen Jetsun looks very elegant in this shade of green today, with the accents on the sleeves combined with the skirt. Also love the Prima Minister's outfit.

The Queen of Bhutan looks gorgeous! The rich shade of green is beautiful on her. The Bangladeshi women's saris are lovely--the many different colors and patterns are so beautiful. I hope we continue to see more of these traditional styles of dress because they are so incredible and we so rarely get to see them.
