Wow, Q.Mathde is nothing short than phenomenal in this Chanel red veering towards dark red evening gown!
As to the First Lady, well, there seems to be a remarkable improvement, this classic black gown looks good on her.

Frau Büdenbender, die Gattin des Bundespräsidenten, looks always tadellos!

Yes, tadellos according to your own cliches, not mine, sorry.
Do not bother trying too hard to write in German.
Just improve your English first, please.

Why don't you write in German for a change ?

I am a bit ususre about this. Great colour and flow but I think it would have been better without the bare shoulder. Mrs Büdenbender looks very good.

I agree with you. My thoughts also about the bare shoulder. Would have been better without it.

    2. I’m not a "one-bare-shoulder” lover but this looks like a small
“one-bare- shoulder” plus the long sleeves help to retain the gown’s elegance.
Madam Büdenbender has well chosen her gown for the occasion.

  4. The red color on Mathilde is beautiful but perhaps the dress is a bit clingy in the wrong places.

Exactly. Nice dress but too clingy in not the best of places for Mathilde.

Revealing 'risque' type of dresses dropped shoulder or the V neck from last night state dinner do not suit her.

What do you wish her to wear then ? If she cannot have a V-neck or a bare shoulder. I prefer her like this. So much better than a high neck closed until under her chin, which a lot of people do not like on Queen Mathilde.

      Risquè revealing dress?
      😂😂🙄
      Are you for real?
Can I ask you what era do you live in?
You do not have a clue about what modern risquè dresses/ gowns look like, I am afraid.

Ja koning Filip is niet meer zo slank als toen hij jong was. Ondanks dat hij een sportief man is, zijn er de laatste jaren een paar kilootjes bijgekomen. Het jasje van het zwarte pak is ook een beetje te smal voor hem.

Mathilde looks wonderful and that shade of red is gorgeous. But I’d constantly be tugging at the neckline trying to even it out…but that’s just me. My brain likes symmetry! 🤔

Then there must be a lot of dresses you don't like, nowadays it is all asymmetry in fashion land.

Queen Mathilde is repeating this red evening gown she wore for the first time in 2017 for a state visit to Denmark. Until now no new dress for this state visit to Germany. And today her last day in Germany she is also repeating an outfit she already had. But I won't tell you what it is, because there is no picture of it on this blog yet. I think Queen Mathilde made a good choice in her big quantity of dresses, coats and gala dresses to wear on this visit to Germany. There are plenty of pictures one can see if you google MFA Flickr and then click on Albums. There is an album for every day of this visit with a lot of beautiful pictures, also from the female minister of foreign affairs who accompanied the king and queen. She dresses with a lot of good taste too.

The asymmetrical neckline on Queen Mathilde’s dress to me adds visual interest. Love the red color on her.

Perfect choice from Mathilde! Love the festive red and the cut is very flattering for her body type. I also have a soft spot for Ms Büdenbender. Her looks aren't in the same league as the royal designer gowns, but she always looks elegant and... for lack of a better description... practical and down to earth. Which I think is wonderful in times like these.

The 'sliding off one shoulder' neckline and the bulges further down make this otherwise pretty gown look a little sloppy on Mathilde. I know from her many other excellent looks and gowns in the past that this is a slight miss for me.

Vous pouvez toujours consulter Edouard Vermeulen puisque c'est lui que a crée cette robe. Voilà maintenant que tout le monde est au courant d'où vient cette robe, les commentaires de ceux qui détestent Natan, peuvent commencer.

QMat looks smashing! Love the Chanel gown on her and the color is so beautiful. Except for the green suit on Day 1, I have loved what Mathilde has worn during this trip. Frau Budenbender's gown is elegant and she looks marvelous.
