On December 6, Queen Maxima attended the 20th anniversary symposium of the "Prince Claus Chair in Equity and Development" held at the Nieuwe Kerk in The Hague. The theme of the symposium is 'a just climate transition'. The objective of the Prince Claus Chair is to continue the work of Prince Claus in development and equity by establishing a rotating Chair.
The Prince Claus Chair in Equity and Development was founded by Utrecht University and The International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam in 2003 in honour of Prince Claus of the Netherlands (1926-2002).

I don´t think the dress and the hat go together. The dress is more of a dinner/coctail dress and it does not go well with a large felt hat.

ReplyDeleteOoooh no! At first, I liked it somewhat - the shawl looks elegant and the hat is completely over the top, but weirdly suits her. But the costume underneath is giving 90s mother-of-the-bride. This can vanish in the depth of her wardrobe, please.

ReplyDeleteThe parts of this outfit are wonderful but together--not too sure. The hat seems off for the suit. The suit and the jewelry give off a very cocktail outfit vibe while the hat is much more casual. In looking at the others in the photos its almost as if QMax is overdressed--she's wearing an evening cocktail outfit while everyone else is in day wear. Maxima looks great here but I wish some changes had been made to her attire.
