At the invitation of King Willem-Alexander, the President of the Republic of Korea, Yoon Suk Yeol and his wife Kim Keon Hee are making a 2-day state visit to the Netherlands. On December 12, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima welcomed the President and his wife with an official ceremony held at the Dam Square in Amsterdam. In the evening, the King and Queen will host a state banquet at the Royal Palace in Amsterdam.
Maxima looks very elegant here. I like the blue she is wearing and her gorgeous earrings.

I like the colour of the Korean lady, she looks really young indeed, no way 51! However, no sparkle, very much like a doll face …. I prefer Maxima’s wrinkles and natural beauty.

ردحذفI love this color blue on Máxima. I can’t remember seeing this color on her. I like her coat a lot but I don’t like the hemline. I don’t know if it was by design or accident, but the coat is too long in the back. In my opinion, the coat would have looked perfect had the hemline looked like the one of the Korean presidential spouse. Though the green coat looks cleverly constructed and fits beautifully, it’s a little too somber looking for my taste.

I love Queen Maxima in this blue outfit. Very elegant. On the first day of a state visit Queens in Europe wear a hat to pay respect to the other party.
ردحذفKim Keon Hee is looking much better in her bottle green coat than in the grey coat she wore for the state visit to the U.K.
I don't know if it's the chosen photographs or the cold weather, but things look a little frosty between the two couples. There doesn't seem to be a any warmth or freindliness being shown. Maybe they all need warmer coats, gloves & boots. I do like Kim Heon Hee's coat. The green colour is unusual and the design and tailoring is well done.

حذفThe weather was less cold today than the past weeks. But there is a lot of humidity which is very bad to catch a cold. I also agree with Anonymous 20:59 and I am pretty sure they are listening to the national anthems.

ردحذفMaxima looks fairly well put together today. The president's wife, looks like his daughter with all the work she has had done. Really quite sad, she was probably a lovely woman before she felt the need to go down the plastic/botox road. Take a look at Diane Cannon's face, its melting, and she was so beautiful when she was younger. JJ
