Queen Silvia celebrated her 80th birthday with her granddaughters and grandsons at the Royal Palace

Queen Silvia of Sweden turned 80 today, on December 23, 2023. The Royal Court released two new official photos on the occasion of the birthday. Queen Silvia was given a surprise party by her granddaughters and grandsons, Princess Estelle, Prince Oscar, Princess Leonore, Prince Nicolas, Princess Adrienne, Prince Alexander, Prince Gabriel and Prince Julian, before the Queen's birthday on 23 December. The party took place at the Royal Palace in Stockholm. The Queen was born in Heidelberg, Germany on 23 December 1943.

    This is a wonderful portrait, the blue dress, gorgeous color, looks fabulous. Her pearls are a lovely addition. The Grandchildren look so happy, having a splendid time, terrific to see.

    TV program was broadcast and will be again I think and they show what an absolutely wonderful person Queen Silvia is. Serious, thoughtful, intelligent and with lots and lots of humor! C
