  2. I for one really like the herringbone plaid outfit. The Queen looks lovely.

  3. Oh too much pattern here, I would prefer a solid colour for the coat, otherwise Queen Mathilde looks very nice.

  4. Wonder however she is keeping her coat on over her shoulders...looks good though.

    1. I always wonder this, too, when I see pictures of royal ladies walking around with their coats on their shoulders. I feel certain I would end up with my feet tangled in my coat if I did the same.

  5. Beautiful look for QMat--she looks lovely here. I don't know I would be bold enough to wear the dress and matching coat together but she really does look marvelous.

  7. Yes, it's Natan and it's a strange cape rather than a jacket but I rather like this unusual outfit. Think Queen Mathilde looks great here.

  8. Natan is not my favorite, but I like this particular outfit better than some of the other Natan outfits Mathilde has worn. Her earrings, shoes, and purse coordinate vey nicely.

I like the dress and the coat but I get dizzy looking at it when worn like this. The pattern is very strong and when it is not aligned it causes negative optical phenomena. If she had put the coat on properly it would have been very god or worn a solid coloured coat/cape

  10. Lovely outfit. The pattern of the fabric looks better from a distance but the colours are lovely up close. From what we can see, the dress seems to fit Mathilde perfectly.

  11. Pretty outfit but the patten is a bit too busy for my eyes. The little girl in the first photo is so sweet!

  12. Queen Mathilde is repeating an ensemble of 2017. I still like it very much. A lovely winter outfit. I'm wondering if her shoes are new. I can't remember she had these, with thick heels and more closed. Also a good choice for wearing when it is cold and weat.

  13. En cette période hivernale, cette tenue convient à merveille à Mathilde mais à mon humble avis, le manteau dans une couleur unie reprenant une de celles de sa robe serait très élégant !

Just too much of a good thing.
Another colour needs to come in there.

Queen Mathilde was born a noble and the old expression could apply …. “she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth”
Grace and dignity come natural to her.
Her mother and father were a Count and Countess.
Her childhood was spent in the family palace known as the
      Château de Losange.
Her brother is the current occupier of the chateau.

    2. That is the difference you see between a real aristocrat and a civil person, no matter how perfect his/her education has been. It is something that aristocratic people pass on to their children. You have it or you don't.

  15. I love the cape/coat and the dress, but not the pattern of the fabric. Love the color of the accessories.
