On November 5, King Carl Gustaf, Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended a concert held at Drottningholm Palace Chapel, on the occasion of Queen Silvia's upcoming 80th birthday. Queen Silvia of Sweden will celebrate her 80th birthday on December 23. The Queen was born in Heidelberg, Germany, on 23 December 1943.

La couleur fuchsia va toujours à merveille à la reine Silvia ; même si Victoria porte un haut bien coordonné à la jupe, il me semble que le Bordeaux/blanc lui conviendrait beaucoup mieux !
ReplyDeleteNot a fan of this dress. CP Victoria looks too matronly. The pattern is fine but the cut of the dress isn’t flattering at all, not even on the model. Queen Sylvia looks elegant as usual. Her hair in soft waves and her jewelry are on point. From what I can see of her dress it’s classy and sophisticated. Pink is a good color on her.
ReplyDeleteDon't like Victoria's outfit. Boots worn by model would be ok with trousers, less with a skirt. Qn Silvia looks lovely.
ReplyDeleteAgree with you. The dress is better with shoes than with the boots but still doesn't look good. The contrasting pattern does nothing for CP Victoria (or the model). Queen Silvia looks great.

I really like Victoria´s outfit. I think it´s both interesting, flattering and tasteful. I just hope she opted for regular pumps, and not her usual ankle boots. I also like that she opted for neutral colour to let the queen stand out in her pink outfit as the concert was in her honour.
