Japanese Princess Kako visited the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu in Cusco during her official visit to Peru

On November 4, 2023, Japanese Princess Kako visited the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu in Cusco during her official visit to Peru. Machu Picchu is a 15th-century Inca citadel located on a mountain ridge and is often referred to as the Lost City of the Inca Empire. Princess Kako is on a six-day official visit to Peru to mark the 150 years of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Japan and Peru.

    The colours are so beautiful together, however, I wish she had gone for a much more structured (straight cut) jacket.

  6. Her smile is contagious; and her outfit is appropriate for the occasion. But, the efforts the Peruvian people have made to uncover and preserve this ancient site is astounding! It may not be as old as other civilizations, but, the challenges presented by the elevation of these ruins make this all the more challenging.

  7. Même si c’est pendant une visite officielle, la princesse Kako éprouve beaucoup de plaisir ; elle est vraiment adorable et j’espère continuer à la voir plus souvent en dehors du carcan de la cour impériale !

    @Helen: I enjoy news about Princess Kako, she is pretty and a joy to look at, but I miss very much news about the Duchess of Edinburgh's visit to Canada. (GM)
