On November 11, Prince Albert, Princess Charlene, Louis Ducruet and his wife Marie Ducruet attended the closing gala evening of the 2023 edition of the Festival des Etoilés Monte-Carlo (Festival of the Starred) at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo.
The evening gala that featured Alain Ducasse, Marcel Ravin, Yannick Alleno and Dominique Lory, who were all cooking in front of guests at the Salle Empire at the Hôtel de Paris, closed the food festival. The Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer chefs created a dinner for the occasion, featuring their signature dishes.

That´s a beautiful dress and perfect for Charlene. I just wish it wasn´t black but maybe forest green, or wine red or navy blue.

An all-black outfit needs to be balanced by either: a) some bare skin as is the case with LBDs/cocktail dresses; b) some noticable accent colour (shoes, purse, belt, jewellery, lipstick...) or c) hair colour. Charlene has c) going for her, but I still find the black a bit somber on her. Regarding Mary, Kate and Letizia: I often comment when these three wear all-black as I often find it even more monotone and gloomy given they are all brunettes.

حذفMaxMara is a brand that is perfect for Charlene. She has the right height and the athletic shoulders to wear it. Little women are usually not looking good in this brand. The fact that the dress is black goes well with her hair which is blond again. I find it certainly not a downgrade. It proves that high-couture is not always necessary to look good (cfr. the atrocities by Chanel that Charlotte Casiraghi usually wears).

Pity you didn't happen to wear one of its iconic creations before, otherwise you would know what it is about , its mission and its high quality staples.
It focuses on a type of classic timeless elegance.
Fact is that some women can wear its creations and other women just can't for a number of reasons.
Prices do vary according to the different pieces from this brand
Hopefully you''ll happen to get to know it and buy something for yourself from this brand one day.

Every element is perfectly chosen for a quiet, composed, powerful effect.
Minimalism has somehow become maximalism, with nary a diamond in sight.
I think the hanging chain element of the belt is key to this balance. If it was missing or a different length or material, it would throw off the entire composition.
Charlene looks as happy and relaxed here as she does when teaching water safety to youngsters.

Fürstin Charlene bravo, bravo!!! Ich mag die hellen Haare, alles weitere ist perfekt sie ist so wunderschön! Eine besondere Freude ist, Fürst Albert endlich mal wieder in einem gut sitzenden Anzug zu sehen, die Länge der Hosenbeine kann noch etwas gekürzt werden, er sollte mehr auf seine Jacken achten, er muss sich nicht einquetschen ; ) -Dorothe-
