  1. Although I do not favor horizontal stripes, the tailoring of CP Kiko's suit/dress is exceptional. I do however applaud her for wearing a patterned ensemble rather than the usual solid color. Of course, her pearl necklace and earrings are very pretty and her smile is radiant.

A lovely outfit, the tailoring is exquisite. Just look at how the lines in the sleeve match up with lines in the main part of the jacket, both sides of jacket from buttons line up and the collar each side is identical. And of course the fit is perfect.

  8. I am not a fan of horizontal stripes, but this outfit looks exceptionally good. Well tailored and fits well. The pearl strand necklace and earrings are very elegant and the perfect finishing touch.

  9. Agree with all the positive comments, especially the tailoring which is excellent and the lining up of those lines is impressive.
Stumbled across some photos of modern Japanese fashion as seen on today’s catwalks.
The difference between what the ladies of the Imperial Court wear and modern Japanese fashion is chalk and cheese.
If you have the time and if you are interested take a look at some examples of modern Japanese fashion.

When I see their modern designs, I get vibes of Vivienne Westwood.

Lovely dress/skirt and jacket. The stripes make it modern and yet classic at the same time. A pity the shoes of the Japanese princesses cannot be seen often on the pictures.
