On May 18, 2023, Queen Camilla opened new school library of Shirehampton Primary School in Bristol, as part of the initiative "Coronation Libraries". This became the Queen's first solo engagement since the Coronation.
The initiative was thus launched in Bristol in celebration of the Coronation of the King and Queen, and will include 50 libraries and reading spaces which will be established by the National Literacy Trust in 2023 and 2024 especially for communities across the United Kingdom with low levels of literacy.
The initiative will work in collaboration with Primary School Library Alliance partners, including Bloomberg. The Coronation Libraries project has been created because of the role that Queen Camilla has played in supporting literacy projects and encouraging young people to read more from a young age.
This is a good, functional, working style day dress and Camilla has worn it before, but for me this time round, It's her shoes that have my attention. They're very nice on her.

Why is she wearing those big shoulder pads in almost all her outfits. It makes her broader than she is. In this dress the shoulder pads look even thicker than in the pale blue she wore yesterday. I agree with anonymous 15:53, she'd better choose a different neckline.

ردحذفI think the post about not showing cleavage to young children is proper. I have said the same thing about other royals that wear low cut blouses to children's events. Those two who think it was wrong to post, need to get out more. The world is crazy enough without the freedom to express one's opinion, pro or con.

حذفHer trusted feather print dress. Question to Clare: why would you hide your wrinkles (yes, I know you meant the chest area; I got that one) from schoolkids? Don't many of their grandmas have that sort of skin, too? The queen's exposure of skin in that area is not indecent, it is absolutely natural. Nothing to hide or to be ashamed of at the age of almost 76. Kids should of course see how people of a certain age look, it is part of the circle of life.

ردحذفWhat a wonderful outing for the Queen! Love that she chose to wear her feather dress--perfect for a literary event since there are quill pen type feathers. She always loves to be with children and it shows--her smiles and twinkling eyes say it all. Nice, comfortable dress (much needed worn on a visit with children), love the shoes, and her best accessory is her obvious warmth.

Queen Camilla has appropriate and nice clothes for this event (visiting nursery school). My mother is the same age as Camilla, has the same figure, and I have already recommended Camilla to her as an inspiration.
ردحذفBut the other ladies in the photo in the company of Camilly - that's a complete bad taste in fashion. I'm sorry if my words seem bold, but I'm used to speaking directly without twisting. The lady in the pink coat has a nice smile, but her outfit is an absolute fashion horror. From my point of view, I also rate a lady in a purple jacket and a long black dress with white flowers as bad taste. Bad choice, ladies.

ردحذفI like Camilla's dress and shoes; the makeup looks good, she needs a scarf I hear that she is not very well and the Coronation took a lot out of her. She might be the queen; but nobody is going to curtsy to her as noted at the Coronation.(Tabby)
